In another thread a Death Metal night was discussed. Even though it won't happen what nights would you like to see?
I'd love to see a System Of A Down night there are some real challenging vocals for people to get a grip on in their back catalogue.

Do you really want to see System murdered to death and mauled in the XF?

Imagine what Brian Friedman would do with these songs? Jings.

System are just too cool and sacred to be attempted on the XF.....

I second the idea of Rock 'n' Roll.

Also: Motown/Soul.

Musicals and Disney

I don't particularly like themes though, especially if the theme is a person. If you don't like that person you're pretty much stuffed.

Hip Hop and Rap week. I think this would be a lot of fun. I can't see it happening but it would be great to see them covering tracks like Drop it like it's hot or Signs.

Definetely country. So many great songs, and some great current acts-Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Sugaland, Gretchen Wilson to pick from aswell as classics.

Also many songs can be changed slightly to fit country styles, like Irreplaceable which Beyonce sang country stylee with Sugaland which was excellent.

Country night could test the contestants without totally forcing them away from what they are good at.

Also a Disney night would be ace, so many great songs from the classics, many not even childish, it would be great.

Bjork night.

The producers spared us the "pleasure" of Lady Shiverz singing It's Oh So Quiet so I feel we now need a Bjork night to make up for the "disappointment".

Most definitely country. There's such a range of stuff they could all do really well.

Indie... acoustic... rock... and I do have an urge to see one of them singing a Pink song for some reason but I don't think Pink is really a theme somehow!

Westlife night, would be good to see the stools come out , the syrupy production, hand movements , the bit when it goes up a key , the big build ups etc.............err thats what X factor acts have to endure already

Des O Connor night

William Shatner night

Robson & Jerome night

Sex Pistiols night

Steve Brookstein night

each of these would tax the acts & would provide a fair barrometer of their abilites in readiness for the holiday camps & working mens clubs
