Pvr80 Volume Problem

After having had to disconnect & reconnect my PVR80 (5.3) to my Philips TV I now cannot alter the volume via the remote.
All other remote functions are working OK & the volume indicator on the screen shows & moves back & forward but the sound does not alter.
I've done a FTI & re-booted the box but still have the problem. I can control the sound with the TV remote so it's still usable but wonder if anyone has any ideas?

Sounds like you've plugged the TV Scart into the VCR scart socket. Try swapping them.

The volume control only works on the TV Scart output

Thanks, but have tried that (& also a different scart lead ) & still not working.

Might be worth checking again - as farpoint says, it seems that you have your TV connected via the VCR scart socket on the PVR80 instead of the TV scart socket. If you are using both scart sockets on the PVR80, simply swap the cables over at that end only.

I am only using one scart lead & it is correctly connected to PVR.
