Unconfirmed and unofficial, but according to a post on Popjustice the tracklisting for Same Difference's debut album looks like this:

We R One
Let Me Be The One
Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now
I Need A House
Breaking Free
If You Can't Dance
Right Between Eyes
All The Roads Lead To Heaven
Better Love Me
Starts To Beat Again
Turn It Into Love
Still Amazed

Happy to see Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now on there - would love to see it released as part of a double-A side to remind peeps they aren't just about kiddie-pop.

Loving the snippets I've heard so far too - reminds me of the sort of pop music I love and haven't heard enough of in recent years.

It's actually quite good at what it is aiming for. Unashamedly bubblegum pop. But I just can't see how they are going to be able to promote it just now.

On another note, Sarah sounds very good on record.

Gods I hope no one tells my wife. I'll need to do root canal surgery on myself just to dull the pain coming from my ears.

Yours seems somewhat familiar too - are you fan of certain 90's pop groups by any chance? (If so I reckon Pop will appeal to you as much as it does to me).

So far they've got scheduled appearances for GMTV, This Morning and they'll be performing on X-Factor on the 22nd alongside Rhydian I think.

Hopefully more television appearances will be added, Blue Peter is an obvious choice.

EDIT: Their schedule also says Children in Need but I think thats probably gonna be one of the several concerts they have on the night. Probably won't be televised.

I admit the lack of a video (yet) & national radio airplay worries me a bit - I'd hate for the album to chart poorly and then hear a lot of people saying they didn't even know Same Difference had released anything.

But hopefully the Cowell will see to it that they get the right promo in good time. A live spot on Children in Need is a good gig to get, as well as the XF performance a week later.

EDIT: Re. shn21's post above - the CIN performance is from Basingstoke but I think I've seen SD mentioned in 1-2 TV listings and CIN quite often goes to the regions for live performances, so fingers crossed they'll at least televise 'We R One'.

I'm feelin the exact same

I think it'll be snubbed by Radio One and it's not really a typical song for Radio Two to play so that's two big radio stations already that won't be playing the song.

Hopefully the video will be released soon but then again it was only filmed last week ..

Yeah I'd be surprised if Radio 1 or 2 touch it. It needs good support from the commercial stations but even they might only play it on the back burner.

A good video will help, but I get the feeling that the X Factor performance is absolutely crucial.

Definitely.

They performed it live last night and got a few more live performances of it coming up so hopefully the XF performance will be good ..

Hahaha. Yeah I'm still a big 90's Pop fan. Love the album clips. It really takes me back to the good old days.

I loved the orginal version of 'I Need A House' by Marie Serneholt, they have kind of murdered it.

Sorry SD fans!

He sang 5 songs, but nothing from the album, they seem to be releasing information about his very slowly. Leon's approach seemed different. Anyway, although you probably didn't want to know so exactly, he sang Delilah, Somewhere, Phantom of the Opera, Toreador, and the Get the Party Started.

I think the promotion is carefully planned. It is still too early for Same Difference. Fans will preorder anyway - the rest must be won over nearer the release date otherwise they could forget again - they are more likely to buy the album in the shops. As someone said, the X factor appearance is the important one but they and Rhydian will put in a stunning performance, I am certain of that.

I can't imagine Simon letting the album flop due to lack of advertising. It's probably on disney channel etc....for the HSM fans that its really aimed at...

oh well, I'll be buying it anyway, it'll go quiet nicely with the HSM soundtracks...
