Will the price of this digicam go down after Christmas?
http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/stor...&category_oid=
I'm looking to buy that for a dear friend in time for late-January (her birthday), but I'm wondering if the price will go down by then? I've checked around and it seems to be in the £95-115 bracket, and also seems to be quite popular (it's become sold out in Dixons within a week, since the last time I checked). I'm really hoping it will go down, because it's the perfect present and I'm dead set on it - regardless of price. So I was just wondering if you techies knew anything about price drops over this time of year? |

The silver version is £88 if you're not bothered about the colour of it. It's available on Amazon.

After the festive season it will probably appear in a Sale. Prior to that however it may be on sale cheaper!
Let me explain myself, certain stores have a habit of selling things at £X in most of their branches, however in stores around London the price may well be significantly higher. For example a Camera in most stores would be £100 in Brent Cross however it may be £150. Now come Sale time you may see it on sale in many stores at £120 with a notice saying was £150 now £30 off!. Perfectly legal if you hunt around for the small print you will see a little note saying it was previously sold at £150 in Brent Cross and may have been previously sold elsewhere at a lower price. A legal con trick. |
