Push Email Setup with Nokia N95 8GB
Hi folks,
I have recently configured my Nokia N95 8GB with push email using the Beta Nokia email client. This program is supposed to fully support push email, but I cannot get it to push emails to my phone. I have to connect manually each time. Is there something I am missing? I am on o2 network with unlimited data package. My email client is GMX (www.gmx.com) which I understand fully supports push email. Please can someone help as I would really like to get this working correctly. Thanks

Hi
Have you tried going into your email settings and enabling the automatic retrieval option? |

Hi, thanks for that! I went into the email settings and it was disabled. However, I have enabled it and it doesn't appear to have made any difference! It's driving me crazy! I am using the Nokia email client and it all appears to be set up correctly. I have no idea why it isn't working. Is there anything else I can try?

rather than use the beta client just use imap.
i connect mine when i get up. it sts there all day and notifies me within about 30 seconds of an email arriving, and it hardly uses any data. |

Thanks for that, but the problem is I'm pretty sure GMX (my email client) only supports POP. How do I get around this? I'd really like to get this sorted if I can. Thanks!
