It should depend on the dance. (Ha!) In theory, John's foxtrot should be significantly better than Andrew's samba and if that is the case on the night then John should stay. Neither John nor Andrew have shown tremendous skills to say the least (although Andrew did show improvement last week.) Their scores overall haven't been too dissimilar either. The judges couldn't really justify keeping Andrew over John if John's dance was better as the potential argument doesn't really work here although it would with any of the others (even though that's not how it's supposed to work). However, I think the point about not wanting to lose better dancers and getting rid of John while they have the chance is very possible. I guess the judges have to hope that there isn't too much disparity between John and Andrew's dances on the night.
Of course, this all pre-supposes a John/Andrew bottom two which isn't all that likely. I think Andrew/Heather is more possible.
