Can I ask why? She really isn't very good. Yes she is better than John and Andrew but thats not difficult really.

She's been lucky to last this long its just that she has been against terrible dancers in the dance off.

Mainly because I love her and Brian and would hate to lose Brian

Hmmm a right mixed bag this evening.

I have to say that I am disappointed with Rachel again, I was willing her Jive to be brilliant, and although I thought it was technically good, there never seems to be enough "performance" with her. I also agree with Len here, that if they couldn't nail the Jive, they could be struggling on other dances.

Jodie and Ian's waltz I thought was amazing, and a tad undermarked. They really swept me away into the performance and told the story beautifully.

I thought that Christine didn't completely get "on-top" of their dance tonight. I think when she performs her feet suffer, and when she does great foot work her performance suffers. I'd love her to get them both together asI think she could be really great.

Cherie was completely out of her "zone" tonight imo. The tempo didn't suit, they style of dance didn't suit, and I though James' choreo wasn't the best. It must be hard for the pro's to make up a dance that they don't do normally though....

Andrew didn't make me want to hide behing the sofa as much asI thought he would. He did his best, but I'm beginning to think he may not be able to produce anything better. He is training the hardest, but not showing the benefits as much as he should be maybe?

John, hmmm I didn't hate it, but it wasn't brilliant by any stretch imo. I love Kristina and think she has done stupendously well with John, but if I'm "judging" it as a dance comp, then imo it may be time for him to leave. I have a sneaking suspicion that it won't be this week though..............

Austin and Erin, I loved their routine, didn't think much to the music though. I'm not sure I'd have had the 10 paddles out yet either. Adore their partnership also, andI think there is better things to come from these 2.....

Tom.....hhm not completely convinced by his paso character, it almost looked at some points like he was having a tantrum! I did enjoy the cape work though, I thought he did it very well indeed. I absolutely abhorred the music .....totally wrong on all levels, imo.

Lisa I thought did a great job this evening. The music was an inspired choice, I think for me she is a bit "Rachel" and needs to up her performance levels. My favourite dance by her and Brendan by a country mile
though....

Heather just seemed to completely zone out tonight, and I am so disappointed for her and Brian. They really could have made that routine their own, especially with the song choice. I don't think she has conquered her nerves anywhere near enough.

Overall - a very enjoyable show, I even liked Bruce, Tess and the judges tonight!!!

Roll on the spoiler, I think Heather and Andrew are in trouble this evening.....

Rachel & Vincent
Christine & Matt
Lisa & Brendan
Cherie & James
Andrew & Ola

My leader board tonight would look like this:

01 Austin & Erin
02 Jodie & Ian
03 Lisa & Brendan
04 Tom & Camilla
05 Rachel & Vincent
06 Christine & Matthew
07 Cherie & James
08 Heather & Brian

Was it me or did Cherie make a mistake during the arm thingies at the end (totally the technical term) They seemed to just be swinging their arms round a bit, I couldn't tell if a mistake or weird choreography.

No doubt that Jodie and Ian were undermarked.......i've said this a couple of times this series but it's as if the judges have an order of "finishers" in their mind before they even score and it takes something major to knock off the scores.

They know who they want in the final 3-4-5 and unless there is a shock two in the dance off one week it's all getting very predictable.

Disappointed by Heather,Christine,Rachel tonight and surprised by Jodie and Lisa.

Anyone other than John,Andrew,Heather in the bottom two will be a surprise but one of them is going.

Grumpy Len again...What has he got against Rachel..Oh I know he is marking her on his expectations of the dance and not the dance itself I truly believe that Len does'nt like Rachel & Vincent.

On the whole I think the judges were pretty good tonight...if Cherie gets through (which she will) even if she is the dance-off and is up against the likes of Andrew, John or poor Heather she will climb back up the leader board as she is due a ballroom dance and can show off her ballet skills again.

I thought the best technical dance was Austin and Erin ( A no brainer after seeing ITT this week) but I thought Jodie and Ian's Waltz was for me the best dance of the night...so elegant and when they got back to see Tess she got a standing ovation from the rest of the celeb's and dancers and a nice comment from Brendon to boot.

Did I imagine it, or did Brucie call Matt "Ian" as he and Christine left for the Tesspit??

Why was John given an advert prior to his "dance"? The bias towards him is staggering. Bruce doesn't even try to hide his favouritism towards John.

John is arrogant and milking his alleged popularity for all it is worth. I know this is an entertainment show, but it is also a dance competition. Johns joke is wearing thin.

Get rid.

I thought it looked like a mistake as she seemed not to know where to put her arms...james did say earlier in the week that the choreography was complicated but I have to say I thought she made a good job of the fast dance

I spotted that as well. It has to have been a mistake, it would be madness to put some choreography in that people can mistakenly think is a cock up!!

01 Austin & Erin - smashing 36
02 Lisa & Brendan - damned good choreography 35
03 Tom & Camilla jointly with
03 Jodie and Ian on 33 points - really starting to warm to Jodie
05 Rachel & Vincent 31 - as Len says: If she can't impress with a jolly jive then what can she do? Disappointing.
06 Christine & Matthew 30 - camera didn't let me see the feet but the extensions were a bit lackadaisical, could have done with more movement and speed
07 Cherie & James 27 - how the mighty fall!
08 Heather & Brian 23 - she looks good in training but can't deliver on the floor!
09 Andrew & Ola 21 - not too shoddy considering he's a bit of a plank, I think he is improving
10 John & Kristina 18 - the lass works hard but c'mon, folks!

Stephanieplum - very succinctly put - I agree totally with you

I would hate to lose John and Kristina tonight - they're more entertaining than the other weaker dancers

Bottom 2? Andrew and Heather. Andrew to go...

Well said, I agree with virtually everything you said, the only bit I disagree with is that there could be someone like Cherie or Christine in the dance off!

Bruce was hilarious tonight! Go Brucie, for the first time ever I saw why people love him!

My thoughts on tonight:

Tom & Camilla - LMAO! He looked constipated, and Camilla gurned her way through it. I found it tres amusing, and not in a good way. I do like Tom a lot, he's got a lot of talent, but I can't take Camilla seriously. It was quite good, but he didn't 'get' the paso - it's not about pulling a stupid face and looking stern, it's about portraying alpha male right through your entire being.

Austin & Erin - It was ok. I can't understand how it deserved a 10 though! The choreography was really really dull and it looked a bit messy in places. Also hated her dress, it was more Samba than Quickstep.

Heather & Brian - She really is pretty dreadful. She's so slow and laboured and never uses her upper body at all. I think she needs to go soon, although I like her a lot and she and Brian together are really sweet.

Jodie & Ian - Awwwwwwwww. LOVED IT! I loved her dress, I loved the P&P style traditional dance elements at the beginning and I thought she really nailed it. Worth more than a bloody 7 Craig! My fave dance of the night.

Andrew & Ola - ..............

Lisa & Brendan - Why is it Brendan is just not as interesting when he's behaving?! It was a pretty good Tango, again the choreography wasn't interesting and it was a lot of content and no interpretation. Lisa is improving a lot, but still needs to give more attack with what she does.

Cherie & James - Disappointing. But then, I expected it to be. She'll struggle with the jive and the cha cha next but I have high hopes for her otherwise. Awful dress and sorry James but the choreography was the worst salsa yet. It looked like they were playing Kids party games with those arm things. I hope she's safe tonight, I'm voting lots! Luff her.

John & Kristina - Time go go home Mr Bear! It was cute and endearing, now it's annoying me. He can't dance but seems to think everyone should think he can. Kristina is now also taking it a bit far in the 'protecting' thing, because she must know he's awful. Don't get me wrong, I adore her, but it's their time go now.

Christine & Matthew - BORING, BORING, BORING! Go away already Christine.

Rachel & Vincent - A fantastic jive! Bouncy, fast, full of sparkle but yeah, still missing something vital. Rachel is so sweet and nice, and has talent, but somehow she's lacking any kind of an edge. It's like they're demonstrating the dance rather than living it. I don't understand what Len has against her though.

And speaking of Len, those bloody 7's! He's a joke, frankly.

Andrew definitely going home tonight with either Heather or John in the bottom two.

Do you know AlliF - you may well be right about that, maybe Andrew and Ola and John and Kristina may squeak through.

I'd really hate for that to be the judges decision though as they are not, imo, the worst couples.
