I thought it was hilarious and quite impressive - who knew he was still that flexible

What I do like about Bruno is he's entertaining and can laugh at himself. Him and Craig are certainly my favourite judges.

I agree.

As much as I love John, a 6 for his Foxtrot !?

is it me or does anyone else think that Cherie was well over marked - considering she forgot the last part of the routine and stood there like a lemon?

i think though it will be tough tonight - could well be Heather & Christine in bottom two - hope not want Andrew or John to go basically as weakest dancers. Love Christine but she keeps being very average with the judges.

I've just realised....What does this smiley remind you of?

Why yes! It's Tom's paso face! (I think it's the mouth that does it)

I am sorry I just couldn't take Tom's paso seriously. I've watched Holby and I know he can do better angry faces than that.

I would bloody hope so too. He shouldn't be getting work if he thinks that's an angry face.

I think that might also be the problem with Vincent/Rachel, he's more showy than lots of the other male pros and so it can highlight Rachel's shortcomings.

That's why it can be better, imo, to have a less flamboyant pro like Matt Cutler, Ian or Erin so that they showcase the celeb more.”

You obviously didn't see Matt's hips last week. They were SOOO flamboyant

I did do a review which I don't think DS let through so here it goes again.

Austin and Erin - I thought this was worth about 9 - not flawless but really good. so the overall score was about right - Craig under-marked, Len over-marked.

Heather and Brian - patchy, good bits, bad bits - possibly a tad under-marked however if she can't wow with a dance like this I don't think she deserves to be in much longer.

Lisa and Brendan - a tad overmarked she stumbled a bit sometimes and didn't quite hit the mark at others. Very good effort though and deserving third place on the leaderboard.

Jodie and Ian - I thought that there some flaws but this was lovely - probably marked about right - didn't agree with Craig's assessment of being too flowery but if Len saw foot faults then I'm inclined to trust him on that (I have issues with his over-marking but not his comments about footwork).

Andrew and Ola - oh dear! lumpy and wooden - he should go home based on that but might get saved for a sympathy vote for the knee.

Cherie and James - I was expecting this not to be good and was right, some bits were good but this wasn't her dance and it showed. I fear she's going to be in trouble. Marks were about right on the whole.

Matthew and Christine - I thought was a disappointment. Matt's usually flawless cheorography was amiss with him doing a solo bit on the stairs whilst she stood there - he's usually good at showing off his celeb but failed on that point tonight . Unlike the paso I thought this would be bang up Christine's alley but it wasn't and if she can't improve then her days are severely numbered. Judges comments and marks were I think fair.

John and Kristina - not the best I'll grant you but both me and hubbie thought the judges were a tad harsh. It had some nice moves in it and it was better than Andrew's effort tonight.

Tom and Camelia - sod Matt DA's waltz and Emma's effort at the same dance - this was the most over-marked performance I've ever seen in Strictly. I thought that despite some good bits (Tom's too good a dancer for it not to have some of those) it was awful. I hated his constipated 'angry' face, his floppy cape waving (unlike Len I like cape work done well - Ramps and James Martin's was really good) and thought the whole thing came over as appallingly camp and like a parody. The fact it was second in the leaderboard is a bloody travesty IMO - both Lisa and Rachel were better.

Rachel and Vincent - I agree with both the good and bad said about this. The routine was great but it lacked omph and sparkle from Rachel - judges comments were fair but I think it was a tad overmarked - should have been straight 8's. Still the best thing all night apart from Austin and should have been second not Tom.

Kat I have to agree with your entire post apart from the 8's for Rachel but thats MO.

Wwith regard to Tom or the Camp Capeman we were laughing too much to appreciate any technicalities!!
