I really cannot understand why Michael Flatley was asked to sit in for Len. He made his absolute lack of ballroom/latin dancing knowledge so apparent with his silly critiques, which reminded me of the horoscopes you read in newspapers - they are so general they could fit everyone!!!

His only exception was to Brooke. Clearly he knew she had done well in previous weeks, and thought he was on safe ground to praise her up - must have felt very silly when Carrie-Ann & Bruno said things as they were!!!

When Michael danced in the results show, he did a sort of tap dance on top of a round box...... excuse me while I yawn! Even the gimmick of having flames appear at the side of the box at the end of the routine, did little to add to the interest.

People should stick to what they know - in Michael's case it is IRISH dancing, nothing else.

I have to agree with you - there must be loads of other ballroom judges out there that could have filled in for Len who actually knew what they were looking at and what the celebs should be dancing. I really, really hope he doesn't become a regular either side of the pond.

I think he will kill the program (whether dwts or strictly) stone dead if he does become a regular. And I agree that there must be loads of judges who would know what they are looking at. Think Corky would make a great replacement if Len dropped out permanently. Of course he wouldn't be able to judge his son Mark, so Mark could come over to strictly, and we'd all gain......

OK, so I like to dream!

He was such a waste of space - I could have done better than that based on my vast experience of watching SCD!

I hope Len never watches that show!

I cannot believe Michael is being eyed up by Strictly !

He would be truly awful. He ruined the one episode of DWTS he featured on.
