Thanks Geth! Yes, good birthday thanks!

Very intrigued to see who goes tonight, now that we're down to Andrew and John as the only obvious choices. favourites will start to show.
I don't think Christine will be in the bottom two this week, because of the combination of a song everyone knows and loves, gorgeous dress and, of course, her dancing partner ...

Oh how cruel - now I really fancy one of those green triangles.

Why doesn't someone invent celery that tastes like a mars bar, they'd make a fortune.

I will never forget going round a Cadburys factory with endless free samples - at first it was heaven but I swear that by the end I really did think "you CAN have too much of a good thing". As a sugaroholic, I would never have believed that state was possible! (Only lasted an hour ro so tho!)

Mmmmmmm, Cadburys! Think I shall have a large white wine, after all it is not chocolate and it is made from grapes

Substitute Cadbury's with Nestle and that is my idea of heaven. Although I see what you are saying about the "too much of a good thing" thing (I'm fast approaching that limit tonight....)

Sometimes there's just nothing you need more than crisps.....to balance out all that sugar! (and that's the reason my jeans don't fit)

I like your wine reasoning Evening Star!! And Gethin's Girl - yes you could be the only person to like celery....you very strange person!! :0)

They wouldn't let us take any out of the factory, for some reason - so we scoffed it all as we went round and it was WARM (just off the conveyor belt) so kinda sickly too ....

I like celery - alongside a large Bloody Mary!

That'll make one of your 5 for the day But don't forget that chocolate is dairy and will help you to not get osteoporosis!

Any chance I'll get my 1500 word essay started before the results?

Whoa, I'm with the Cadbury's crew! I'm currently washing my neck in a big bag of giant buttons

It's says something about sharing on the bag. Sharing, my ar$e! Get yer own!!

PS I like celery too

Oh I like this thread - I can eat chocolate because it will stop me getting osteoporosis, and I can drink wine as 1 of my 5 a day

When we went round Cadbury's, the bars they were giving away went to my handbag - other wise I'd have a hoard of hyperactive kiddies running around!"

And Tsephanie, you're not the 1st person to say that!

Depends on whether the subject is the merits of celery, the perils of addiction to SCD, pandas - but I am guessing it will be none of them. maybe we could all help while we wait? What are yor 1500 words supposed to be about?

I'm wading through a Cadbury's multi pack that I bought for the trick or treaters last night. Luckily only one lot turned up

Celfy, are you doing an OU course? I've been doing an OU degree (having a break just now).

I LOVE the thing about chocolate preventing osteoporosis - I never heard that one before! Er, does anyone know a health benefit of eating cake?

I'm a Galaxy girl, but hubby's just put pizza in the oven, ordered Leatherheads for us to watch on Sky and we have Butterkist to eat whilst we watch the film!

WW's not going that well for me this week!

^^ Yup, it makes you happy, thus preventing colds and such, as your happy endorphins fight them off......

It's true you know

It could have had something to do with me unplugging the bell

OK, cake contains eggs, a valuable source of protein, also butter, made from milk and therefore a source of calcium. Sugar boosts energy, and as we all know we should never let blood sugar levels get too low. Golly, cake is practically a health food!

It's not OU but I do get an accreditation at the end of it. I'm studying to be a dog behaviourist!

I have to do 1500 on dominance theory and whether it applies and my reasons for my arguement.

Depends what kind - fruit cake has fruit, lemon cake has lemon (again a fruit), strawberry shortcake has strawberries (you know where this is going)....... you can justify anything if you put your mind too it!!

It's nice to have someone to reveal the result, although I'm toying with the idea of leaving it and actually finding out who goes when I watch the results show rather than before.

I could never do that. I need to know and it makes the Sunday show much more enjoyable when you are not on tenterhooks wondering who is going at the end. At least if it is someone you like, you don't need to see them do the dance off and leave.
