I am mistified by the judges tonight.

I thought Rachel, was REALLLY good, best of the evening, and I'm not a fan of hers at all, yet they were really harsh in their comments to her IMO. Can someone tell me what her score was I missed the very end.

I cannot understand how they can praise Jodie so much when she is far worse?

I also thought they were WAY harsh with Christine whom I thought did a really good job, not perfect but I found them really harsh on her too.

I just feel they have their favourites Jodie & Lisa (over marked AGAIN).

Getting a bit sick of it this year, I really don't know why?

Rachel's jive was nice and bouncy with good flicks and kicks but I would agree some of the transitions looked awkward

Jodie I saw little wrong with it

Christine well it lacked excitement for me and she was it times a bit flat footed, lovely lift though

I thought Rachel and Jodie were BOTH undermarked. I had them 2nd and 3rd.

I like Lisa a lot as a person but I think she is getting marked a bit too highly.

I suppose she earns it for putting up with the plonker.

I thought Rachel was undermarked. And (as I posted in another thread)...although Heathers dance wasn't her best, I think she did better than Cherie, who I felt not only made lots of mistakes, but was really uncomfortable to watch. Why has she got higher marks to Heather?

I'm not saying anything against Cherie here, but I do feel judges are marking on the dancers (and their own ideas about the dancers) rather than the dance on the night.

I didn't want Cherie to get lower marks (as I don't want her to be in the dance-off) but I do think the judges are not truly marking on what they see.

I have to agree with you about Rachel,,,I think to be honeset,,just my opinion that Len has something about her that he doesent like,,, I dont think it will make any difference to him whatever she does or how good she is,,he wont give her high scores,,she hasnt been my favourite so far,but I thought she was amazing tonight . I think his favourite is Austin and he doesnt want anyone coming close to him

I think the problem is that they expect so much from the dancers and when they don't live up to expectations it shows in the marks. For me Rachels jive was good BUT not exciting, it didn't make me think WOW and I guess that's what they were expecting from her - I agree with whomever said she didn't seem to have enough energy in it.

If you look at Vincent and Louisa's jive as a comparison (because they're of similar height and ability) then you'll see why Rachel didn't get the marks she should have.

I agree with this if we are talking about Len's comments to Rachel. He seems to enjoy crushing her and trying to wreck her enjoyment. However, I also agreed that some of the transitions looked rather awkward so I think her marking was about right. I can't understand why Len has to be so negative in his comments and then give her an 8, which is a GOOD score. Most odd.

Generally I agree with the judges. I think Len is to be disregarded largely, but when the scores are combined I feel they are pretty accurate.

Rachel I thought was poor this evening. It was an excellent routine to good music and Vincent was superb which I think may have influenced viewers scores of Rachel.

In reality Vincent was the star.
