Why are they being so horrible to Daniel?
He may be old
He may not sell records He may not win the show But he sang the bl***y song good! I feel for him cos he's doing all he can, and while the likes of Eoghan is getting praised when they are c**p, he is actually singing in tune and doing decent performances, but gets slated. The judges never mention his voice, just how he wont sell records etc which is fine the first week or so but now it isn't fair on him. I hope he goes tonight because the way he has been treated by the show is awful. |

Agreed he was not the worst by far. He just has this stigma attached to him and simon and louis feel the need to be vile to him every week. For his own sake i kind of hope he goes this week as i don't think its fair for him to have this week

it's what's keeping him in at the moment. the sympathy vote. not for his wife dying, but being lambasted by dot cotton and norah batty every week.

I think its awful.
I'll be the first to admit that he is weakest in terms of potential and vocally not as strong as the others. However look at that Eugeon bloke? Good grief. His vocals are very flat, yet he and Louis sing his praises every week. The hypocrisy is incedible. It's just someone to mock! |

He's obviously not the best and has little chance of winning but he doesn't deserve the comments he's getting. He really wasn't the worst tonight by far, and Simon who didn't even appear to be taking notice of his performance seemed to have made his mind up what he was going to say before Daniel even walked on stage.

I agree. He doesn't deserve all that abuse from Simon and Louis.
It's almost like a tradition. The McDonald Brothers were slated constantly by Simon in XF3, Same Difference were slated by Louis last year and now Simon and Louis have ganged up to slate Daniel all the time. Can't they just even say "Well done, Daniel. You did your best"? |

It was well over the top and bordered on bullying tonight. To call it one of the owrst performances in X Factor history was nonsense.
He's not great but never as bad as that. It was nasty and spiteful stuff and as some of you guys said very uncomfortable viewing. I hope he go's tonight for his own good and then fires a verbal volley at the two of them. |
