Taken little one to the vets for a second injection and some more medication (5 day treatment) and the vet is impressed with his progress and see's no reason why he should not make a full recovery.

The vet seems to think it is more of an infection than 'wet-tail'

Hammy has responded ok to his treatment although he still is not himself...he is slowly getting there (bless him!)

Thanks for all your support folks...nice to know there are small animal lovers who do care.

Yay for hammy!
Its funny how we get so attached to something so small.

Hope he carries on getting better!

He is doing great! His droppings are back to normal and he is clearing up well down below. (just a scab there at the moment) He is taking his medication and slowly coming back to his normal self. He's been climbing the cage and going in his ball at night.

He's been spoiled over the last week and he's probably wondering whhat the fuss is all about..bless him!

He's been a fighter and overcome whatever he had and i am just glad it wasn't lethal.
