Dances that are re-watchable
What dances in this series have pulled you back to re-watch, be it on youtube, or iplayer, or your own recording?
For me, just the two so far : Austins Jive and Jodie's Waltz |

D'arcy Bussell's dance was mesmerising IMO and I thought that the pro dancers seemed to really enjoy dancing to Alesha's song a couple of weeks ago.
Enjoyed both performances so much I've kept the recording and keep re-watching both. To have them both on the one recording is a real bonus.

I watched Cherie & James Rumba back four times, I think. *blushes*
Other than that I do like Erin & Austin's Jive. The music probably has a great deal to do with it! Ditto to the poster above, I watched back Darcey/Katherine/Anton & Erin performance several times, as I did with the pro paso, Kristina's Mambo and Vincent & Flavia's Rumba to Enrique .... and oh dear God, Jill & Darren's Jive. Love. xxx |

Cheri and James rhumba was stunning - definitely my favourite this series.
I find all the repetition in the results show a bit boring (I record it and fast-forward most of it). One way to pad out the time a bit better might be to have a parallel competition for the best dance of the series. In each results show viewers could be asked to vote for the best dance of those they've seen so far, with the leaderboard being updated weekly so we always have a top ten. In the last show there would be two winners - best contestant and best dance, which might be the same, but not necessarily so. The flaws would be 1) we might get sick of the sight of seeing recaps of the top ten each week, and 2) if the winning dance was not by the winning contestant - it might take something away from the winner. Still, I think it's an idea that could be worked on. |

All of Austin's especially the jive, Jodie's Paso and John's Paso just because I think it's the most hilarious thing I've ever seen, it's like Christopher Robin dragging Winnie the Pooh!

![]() "HERE is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it." |
