I'm not sure if many people on DS watch it, but there are a few similarties in the format (I said few....) anyhoo....too make this topic X-factor related. which acts from this series of x-factor could you see making it past the first round of Orange Unsigned Act?

Ooh I watched this today - I liked Bo Bruce (I think that was her name!). It went to show that Diana is not at all unique, I thought they were very similar but Bo better.

Bo Bruce was AMAZING! I'm glad she isn't going down the X-factor path, because I can gurantee they wouldn't have let her release a song like that!

I saw a bit of it- at first it looked like it would be interesting.
But I quickly realized the constant 'Oh this is less fake than other reality TV' and 'We're INDIEEEEEEE' was a bit more pretentious than honest.
At least the X-factor is knowingly crap
That Belle girl on first was good but they weren't happy because she wasn't 'edgy' and 'raw' like Amy Winehouse
How ironic of a show protesting to be 'different' to tell someone to act, sing and write fake to sell records.

Totally agree - I loved her song. I would definitely buy her stuff. It's not the usual commercialised type music that the winner of the X Factor will undoubtedly release.

Agree with the judging on Unsigned - I think they talk crap most of the time. But there are some very talented artists appearing on it.

I sort of agree as well, some of there critiques can be quite hypocritical. but some of the acts themselves are rather good.

I like the fact that they don't really judge the vocals too much, they have let alot of decent acts slip through the net though...last year this group called Yashin never made it past the first round which I found rather annoying cus they were pretty awesome!
