Hi All,

Im currently in the market for a 32in LCD, I like the Samsung.

A draw to Samsung is the USB WiseLink feature, however there is something that annoys me.

I want the Samsung 5 Series (32in) which has the standard WiseLink, which plays MP3's, JPEG's etc, but NO VIDEO files.

The 7 Series has "WiseLink Pro", which in addition to above plays Videos (Xvid / DivX MPEG4's etc).

Now my question's are:

1. Is there any hardware difference between the two series that enables this to play or is it just software?

2. If its software is there a way to "hack" the firmware to enable video playback on the standard WiseLink..?
