I loved her cha cha cha and was stunned by the judges it was not brilliant but was so much better than said or marked. A 7 was fair but 5 s ? It was not much worse than her first dance - salsa which They loved. The travesty of marking Cherie higher than Heather has put me off the show. Heather is the best performer imo of all.

Her cha-cha was a lot worse than her salsa. Her technique is terrible - this is not so important in salsa, but is in cha-cha. 5 was a fair mark imo.

Heather is mediocrity personified.

Cherie didn't deserve more than Heather, she made so many obvious mistakes even to the untrained eye.

totally agree. I loved Cherie's ballroom dances but last night she was horrific. She lookes as though she was stumbling from one sequence to another, There was no comparison with Heathers cha cha. I thought Heather did really well and deserved much better marks

I love Heather, and have really wanted her to do well...

but she isn't. She takes the criticism too personally, so she doesn't learn, she just gets cross. She is still not closing either her feet or her legs, still not performing as well as she can, and still forgeting to finish her moves. She seems to think the judges have it in for her, and this is a barrier to her improving.

I don't think her dance was that good, I thought her marks were fair...I don't think that Cherie should have had such good marks, however.

Fabulous lady but not a great mover.

She looks so disorientated when coming out of a spin. She always seems to be playing catch-up with the beat. Not much fun to watch I'm afraid

I have to agree with this. Every week I will Heather to pull it out of the bag and it hasn't happen yet and I don't think it ever will unfortunately.

I'd still rather watch Heather dance than any of the others.

I think she might be quite good, if she starts enjoying the experience a bit more (if she stays in the competition). She seems so tense, and to be quite truthful that has put me off her a bit.

However I felt sorry for her yesterday as she was clearly hysterical after the judges comments (not in a negative way).

The problem is i really believe that she has it in her to to better, otherwise i wouldn't care. I think that lack of practise IS an issue for her, even if she can get the steps in a few hours if she isn't putting in the time, for whatever reason, come saturday all we will get will be the steps, no finness, no performance, if they could give extra time she would really own the dance and i think really wow us.

I think that she has real potential and should think about her other commitments outside strictly, because this is a once in a lifetime event, another concert is just another concert.

Hopefully i'm not way off the mark but i do get disapointed when i see that they are practising so little and remembering that even at this stage Alesha what practically living in the practise room, god how i miss her.

She is far too stiff and very hard to warm to.

Oh I am so torn I really like Heather and the friendship is genuine top notch.
I am supporting her, like a few of us are.
I did mention on Brian's thread that the confidence shown being bought down the stairs, and the sass in the snaps I have seen seem to ooze away. Her confidence will need more building up this week than ever .
*fingers crossed*

I'm loving Brians work - but I am alos reaching the point where I'm getting exasperated with Heather and I don't want to be.

Like someone else said, if she was obv talentless in dance I wouldn't be so meh but I'm sure she CAN do it, but she isn't. Nerves yes OK but it's been weeks now and at some point you have to conquer them.

I do feel for her because she's getting nothing but negative feedback but equally she has to take some responsbility for getting a grip and going for it. No-one else can do ti for her and there is only so much confidence building Brian can do.

They should get her a sports psychologist or soemthing

I agree with you. I just wish she would take some of the comments on, and do something about them. She has the ability, but somehow she seems to be her own worst enemy (plus the overly negative comments of the judges don't help).

I'm supporting Heather and Brian as I love their partnership. I was hoping and praying that the cha cha would be their dance, but sadly that hasn't proved to be the case.

I honestly don't think that she's a bad dancer. She did a good salsa and a good VW and even her bad dances weren't medicore - not when you compare them to the likes of Fiona, Kate or John even. She is certainly putting in the practice - she's not been in the least reherased celebrity top three position for the past two weeks. I just genuinely think that she suffers from paralyzing nerves that are affecting her performance.

I can't explain it, but I just feel that she can dance well. I will just keep on hoping that she can pull it out the bag.

Like or hate the woman, you've got to admire somebody who comes back and gives it her bad shot even though she's been constantly knocked down.

Exactly.

She and Brian are the only reason I'm still watching this series.

She's moving on up and nothing will stop her.

GO HEATHER! x
