Do those high heels restrict the ladies?

I can hardly stand up in heels let alone dance in them.

You don't need heels to get you on the balls of your feet - just ask any sporting guy.

Lisa wobbled on her heels in the Rumba - I've never seen a male celeb wobble like that.

I still wear heels though - I've got two pairs of 4 1/2 inch heels - but I can't wear them for very long.

Agree with you Christa. Men achieve all of the same things (sway, rise and fall) without heels. Heels make me feel glamorous, but as far as dancing is concerned they're another hurdle to conquer. I prefer to learn in proper latin practice shoes.

I find it odd when the celebs do hours of practice in their heels and then complain about blisters on their feet. They could start learning the steps without them and then start dancing in them as Saturday gets closer.

I'm a size 3, and a beginner, and can dance in 4 inch heels I tend not to though.

Wow, I'm seriously - and genuinely - impressed.

But then again, she is a professional lady and was formerly ranked second in the world in amateur - if anybody can do it, she can!

Absolutely love dancing in my tango shoes - so balanced an absolute joy but completely wrong for latin. My lovely latin shoes, so comfortable 3" heel (often worn when dancing AT). Also wear a social dance shoe with a 2" heel, feel very secure when I wear them.

The most uncomfortable dance shoe is my ballroom shoe, something not quite right about it, but can't quite put my finger on it. Definitely going to spend some time trying on different makes before I buy a replacement pair.
