Vincent & Flavia are fantastically versatile.

Their competition successes include: four times UK Professional Ten-Dance Champions, three times UK Professional Showdance Champions, four times World and European Ten Dance and Show dance finalists, and twice IDO World Argentine Tango Show Champions.

Well done to all four pros for that hugely entertaining routine

I am so pleased someone started this.

Absolutely fantastic!
Anton is a master. Flavia was superb.

The comedy bits with Anton and Vincent and then Erin and Vincent.

Bravo to the performers and choreographers!

Also brilliantly acted by Anton in particular! Now that guy can teach the male celebs a thing or two about the right facial expressions.

And Anton was even good with bossa nova hips!

Sorry to gush but it was GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!

What a superbly entertaining dance that was.....like something out of a 1930's musical. Loved Anton's droll faces - 'More Tea Vicar' hehe. How exciting were Anton and Flavia dancing together - fast, furious and glamorous. I've watched it umpteen times already and still laugh at Anton and Vincent dancing together. Altogether a really good show this weekend.

Loved it - nice to see something with a bit of humour between couples rather than just between partners. It really showed up the jive before it for the woodenly-choreographed dross it was

I think that the show should be more about showcasing the pros like this - definitely my favourite dance so far this season, and gets into the top two of all time (alongside the Rebel Yell jive)

Makes a nice change from dross like the 'sports' interview thing that the Logans and Matt thingy did......:sleep:

I hated it. Far too much V&F on the show, the BBC should remember you can have too much of a good thing.

With the exception of the pro Paso I'm not impressed by the pro dances this year.

10 dance competitors?
It means they competed in both ballroom (which has 5 dances) and Latin (also five dances). Most pros, & amateurs aspiring to reach worldclass status, specialise in one style or the other.

Possibly not the most popular thing to say, but nevertheless true, is that most couples do 10-dance if they are not outstanding enough at one or other style to make it to the top. Strangely, although Flavia and Vincent were amazing when dancing a cabaret or demonstration, they seldom managed to deliver in a competition.

The exception for F&V was showdance - yet another style competition - where they had the floor to themselves, and could do what they liked, including lifts etc.

Edit: Sorry, I have just noticed that this has already been answered.

No problem, that's really interesting you're saying that dancers like V&F take part in 10 dance competions because they are not skilled enough to specializes, 'jack of all trades' kind of thing, but for our purposes the fact that they are able to be so general really enables them to stand out as having that little bit extra.

That's very true.

(I should add that most young dancers dance both styles, it is only when they are aiming for the top that they tend to specialize).
