But why the necessity to compare Rachel to Louisa? After all if one compared Louisa's jive to Jill's the former would surely come off second best.
Why not compare them?: confused: both young'ish same partner, similar sizes.

Rachel's jive seemed to consist of a load of old S club 7 video choreography & moves. All very good IF it's going to be edited for a video.
It just didn't excite me, and her bum looked big
you do have a thing about women's size don't you. Good thing you're here to keep us girls on our toes eh?

luckliy my arse is the size of a small planet so there wouldn't be an issue of it looking big, it is big

anyway Rachel's problem as has bene said many times, is that she doesn't project any real personality or "oooomph". Some people have that x factor like alesha and some people don't - and I don't think Rachel has it. Shame really because she's a beautiful girl with an amzing figure and she can dance

I dunno though if Vincent simplfied the choreography to make it a bit easier for Rachel she might be able to let go a bit more and enjoy it without thinking... oh i go through his legs here and then him through mine etc.

Dunno if that would make any difference though as she just lacks that something

That was one of the only dances that Louisa was any good at. Overall she was a bit blah.
She was a pretty good latin dancer on the whole but apart from her qs and tango her ballroom was a bit meh from I remember.

And better legs I think what Rachel needs to do is wear less clothes in her dances

Rachel will attract bitchy comments about her appearance whatever she wears or however good she looks. That's just a fact of life for young, attractive females on RTV shows.

It's a relatively harmless way for people to work out their issues I suppose. I think it's probably a buckled form of flattery actually.

I don't think that Rachel had the correct bounce action, and her kicks and flicks were from the wrong place. Also, I think that Vincent let her down in the choreography, as there were a few too many tricks which in Craig's words madeit look a bit 'lumpy'.

Louisa was bouncy and very outgoing, neither of which Rachel really is. Vincent choreographed both jives to reflect that. Louisa's was much more traditional whereas Rachel's seemed to have a lot of rock & roll type choreography.

Louisa always reminded me of Tigger

The most wonderful thing about Tiggers,
is Tiggers are wonderful things.
Their tops are made out of rubber,
their bottoms are made out of springs.
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is,
I'm the only one.
Oh, III'm the only one!

Oh, the wonderful thing about Tiggers is,
Tiggers are wonderful chaps.
They're loaded with vim and vigor.
They love to leap in your lap.
They're jumpy, bumpy, clumpy, thumpy,
Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is ...
III'm the only one!

Just thought I would add that.

Louisa's Cha Cha, Tango, and Paso Doble were all excellent.

In fact, I think her Paso was chosen as one of the pro's favourite dances on ITT that year. That pro also accused the judges of undermarking Louisa (which I agree with given Emma gave us that diabolical Paso which received 10s).

I partly agree, but she was still better than Emma Bunton.
Strictly come flucking dancing; what happened?

Both youngish? There is 11 years between them. There are more similarities in Zoe, Denise and Jodie: all 3 tall, similar age, same partner. And what about Jessie Wallace and Letitia Dean; only 4 years between them, similar build, both appeared in EE, both danced with Darren Bennet.

No two people are the same - and it's bad enough that Rachel is having to overcome Len's perceived disappointment, without feeling she has to emulate Louisa as well.

I loved Louisa, but not everything she did was good.

I thought Louisa's jive was much better. The dance was much more entertaining to watch that Rachel's. I thought Louisa was an excellent dancer and oozed personality and fun. Rachel's jive lacked something for me. It didn't make me want to get up and dance (as if i could!). I think that Vincent over complicates his routines. I know he did that with Louisa and at times it looked as if she was struggling to keep up. I think he may be doing the same with Rachel.
People have mentioned that the forums have become overly critical this year. I for one must admit I have criticised a few of the celebs. Is it because the standard of dance just isn't very good this year or are our expectations too high?

Well while we're on the subject of Louisa's Jive - I didn't think it was as good as Jill Halfpenny's.
