Is there a different audience for the `Sunday' showing or do they just shuffle them about?

Do the the dancers (celebrities or professional) get paid more the longer they stay in the competition (hence them being nervous when their names are called out)?

Have the professional dancers ever made a cock-up on the floor?

Which of male professional dancers are gay (just wanna know for curiosity)?

Which of the professional dancers are married/separated to/from each other?

'Have the pros ever messed up?' Yes, Ian slipped and fell on the floor during his show dance with Zoe Ball in Series 3?

And last year during the Pro Latin Medley, Matt Cutler went a bit wrong near the end of the routine.

It is the same audience in the same seats for the Sunday recording.

Darren and Lilia and James and Ola are married. None of the others are in a relationship with their professional partner.

All the performers are paid the same however long they stay in.

James also went wrong in one of the pro dances last year, which he and Ola did with Darren and Lilia.

Brendan and Camilla were engaged until half way through Season 1 I think of SCD *cough Nathasha Kaplinsky cough*

From what a couple of people who have been at the live shows have said, some of the celebs bog off prior to the results show and others are shuffled round to fill gaps, which may contribute to the impression that the audience has changed. I also think they try quite hard to show different segments of the audience.

(I was not watching regularly in those far-off days.)

Did Ian get up, massage his bruise, and carry on skipping a few bars? Were they marked down for it? It was very unsporting for Colin to plant a banana skin there when Ian was not looking.

The show dances aren't marked ~ and they were eliminated by that point anyway.

He got straight back up ~ impressively quickly actually!

Ian just got straight up and carried on as you'd expect him to do. They weren't actually marked for it as they had just been knocked out, so were just doing it as their last dance.

No, the audience is the same, although some people leave after the "Saturday" show, so other people may move to the front row seats to make the audience look full.



No. They all get a predetermined fixed amount irrespective of how long they stay in the competition.

Lilia and Darren are married, as are Ola and James. Flavia and Vincent were in a long-term realtionship until they split last year. Brendan and Camilla were engaged but split in Series 1. Matt Cutler and Nicole Cutler divorced prior to them appearing on the show.

What made me start most from Zoe and Ian's dance was that the final was in week ten. If Strictly 2008 was the same in length, next week would be the quarter final stage.

What has happend to Philip Jackson and the red button commentry - has an explanation been offered this season that I may have missed?

I don't think the judges commented. If I remember correctly Zoe and Ian had been eliminated at this point and just got to do their showdance as their final dance. I thought this dance was fantastic.

Ian slipped on Zoe's fan which she had discarded as they went into the main bit of the dance.
