I agree 100% The increase in negativity is amazing this year and it is made worse by the amount of threads & posts saying the same thing over and over again. This board always had a few members who would post provocative comments, but it was never as bad as other boards such as the BB board. This year the unpleasant 'BB' board atmosphere has arrived over here (that's just my opinion btw).

I think they are overmarked, I don't usually enjoy their performances and I'm not a big fan of Brendan- I find him arrogant.

Brace yourself for the latter stages of the competition then when there is a sudden influx of new members emphatically expressing their views!

Lisa and Brendan are my favourites! Admire the way Lisa has managed to get her nerves in check, and for me she is the only celeb in the entire series who has any personality whatsoever. Their tango was amazing.

I also love Austin's dancing. No fuss, no gimmicks, just a darn good quickstep.

Dancewise, both couples are streets ahead of all the others ..... but I'm not saying others can't/won't catch up, it's still early days!

I think everyone who posts on here is biased - in favour of one couple or person over another. Variety is the spice etc. Forum would be very boring if we all thought the same!

I know LOL! And so many start a new thread thinking what they have to say has never been said before! Ahh to be a newbie again! Mind you I lurked for a long time before joining!

Lisa's growing on me - came across a bit smug in the begining but she knows how to handle Brendan and unlike him is grateful for good marks and realistic about what she deserves. She's been a tad overmarked on occasion IMO and I wasn't impressed by her paso - I can't quite put my finger on why but it lacked a certain drive to me. However like Jodie she listens to critism and takes on board to improve - like Jodie she also seems to be growing in confidence and ability. Loved her tango on Saturday and I'm looking forward to her next dance - which I've calculated will be another ballroom, probably the foxtrot.

I can't bare her, mainly because she comes across as being quite false. I think they are overmarked and I don't think she is as good as she thinks she is. I know my comments are very negative but I am only expressing how I feel. I cannot warm to her.
I am not a Brendan fan at all but I liked his partnership with Kelly last year and if she had not left the competition early I believe they would have been serious contenders. I wasn't a Kelly fan either btw.

I agree too - there've always been a few who like to get others riled up, and the temptation to post about celebs who one finds irritating does get worse as the series goes on (I hold my hands up and admit I've done it, more than once I'm afraid - I'm not perfect and not trying to point the finger) but it seemed to start really early and be more vicious more quickly this year... some of the bitching I seem to recall started before the show had even started on TV!

I think as long as we are civil to one another, then we should be allowed to be as critical of the show as we want.

We might not always like what we read (I know I don't!) but as long as it adheres to the terms and condition of Digital Spy, then we have to accept it.

Hi Sid!

Actually I'm not that bothered about what we say to each other. What I'm rattling on about is how much more nasty people are being about the contestants - that's the negativity that I think has increased dramatically. It won't stop me posting, but it does spoil things a bit. I'd say the worst members are well aware of just how far they can go within the DS T&Cs.

I think that is very true. We are all entitled to our opinions of who we like/dislike, but have to accept others will disagree. (Not much point in forums if we all agreed!)
