Helen Flanagan robbed at gunpoint in her home.

Horrified Helen Flanagan was last night left in tears after being confronted by three armed raiders at her home.

The men, who managed to escape with some of Helen's belongings, targeted the ex-Corrie star after she confirmed on her Twitter profile that her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair is away, posting: "Super tired today, which makes me emotional, sensitive and mental!

"Can't wait to have my boyfriend home."

Police are currently quizzing the actress and taking evidence from her home, and she plans to spend the coming days staying with a friend before deciding whether to return to the house.

Helen's agent confirmed this morning that she is "shaken", but "coping well" with the incident, adding: "She's a fighter."

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: " We are investigating a burglary at a private address in Prestbury reported at 23.50pm on Monday 17 June.

"Thieves broke into the detached property and stole items of jewellery and a mobile phone.

"The investigation into the incident is continuing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police."

More drama for Helen eh? She is one unlucky son of a bitch isn't she our Hel?

Can't help feeling this is probably some kind of set up for her "My Life" docusoap nonsense she's currently filming

people complain about Flanagan and "wish she'd go away", but you have this ..

.. maybe if people stopped paying so much attention, she would go away?.

But then the Showbiz forum was just as bad when Cheryl Cole was public enemy number one I suppose.

If true then I do feel sorry for her. I don't think she's a nasty person, and I certainly don't hate her. I just hate and don't get the media obsession.

It has to be true. Surely she isn't that thick to stage something like that and waste police time. Then again.

Unlike the other usual suspects around here being robbed at gunpoint does kind of warrant some kind of attention.

Yeah I think that's fair enough, but I suppose it just came at a time where there were a couple of other threads about her as well.

Maybe some bright spark will start a "Helen Flanagan Un-Appreciation Thread" so they can collect all of the news items and see how many times they can use the word "bimbo" in a single post

Firstly, why the bloody hell did she tweet that she was home alone for? Talk about wanting to invite burglars to your house. Secondly, is that her place? Hell! I bet that costs something to buy.

£2,795,000 to be precise - she rents.

Don't worry she'll be fine tonight, there are about 6 paps camped outside causing havoc with the traffic!

She is a drama magnet. If even one young person aspires to be like her, God help us.

OP, I think your heading of "robbed at gunpoint" is a bit misleading. The burglars were actually armed with a saw and a screwdriver according to all reports I've seen.

Would many people actually expect mentioning on twitter that they're home alone to attract robbers? I don't tweet anyway, but I don't think I'd have thought of that being the result.

Anyway, whatever anyone thinks of Helen she didn't deserve that. Best wishes to her and hope the robbers get caught.
