I used to follow pop groups around years ago....1992 to 1993 mainly....met most of the now defunct "boy bands"..like Bad Boys Inc and Worlds Apart. I think I met Worlds Apart so many times (27 plus!) that they knew me and asked friends where I was if I wasnt at a gig or a signing etc....received a lovely long letter from Dan Bowyer when he left the band (probably because we are both big Red Dwarf fans) and little messages from Steve from time to time but by 1995 they were big in France and I was more into club dance music. My dutch friends still loved them but I just couldnt be bothered anymore... Must say that I was shocked to see how popular the band got on the continent.....read somewhere that at one record signing there where more people there than there had been for Michael Jackson!!!!! WTF????? Strange!

My mum met Phil Jupitus in Lakeside in Essex...said that he looked a right idiot because he had real dark glasses on indoors and was desperate NOT to be recognised....and when folks asked "Are you PJ?" he ignored them.....plonker. Shes also met Mike from Bucks Fizz and served him at the till in Boots. She said he was really nice...shes also met Brian Conley, who she was totally in love with. She said he was just so lovely....stood and chatted to my mum and dad for ages, and my mum had a photo taken of her sitting on Brians lap. This was back in about 1987...but she did say that she would love to meet him again...only to see if he is still as affable as he was then

Oh...she also met Tommy Steele when she was a teenager and said he was a right tool...really arrogant and shouted at people for standing near his car (when there was NO WHERE else to stand) Plus she said he had teeth that open beer bottles.

My dad was given a lift home by the Everly Brothers....this was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back...in the late 1950's and this was when my dad still lived in London. He said that they were polite, charming and really generous....and so kind....he was just embarrassed that my nan didnt recognise them!

I met Brian about 3 years ago, he is a really nice guy, he took time to speak to me and my mum had my photo (actually right in front of me now) he is a really good guy

Joe Pasquale is another who I have nothing bad to say about, he was really nice to me, signed the autograph and chatted, He had to get back as it was quite late and he lived in Kent, but he still took the time to chat to about 70 fans

Shane Richie was a nice guy, he did seem a bit rushed and nervous around everyone though, I am a fan and have been for as long as I can remember (2002 ish when I was just 6) and he was really nice to me

Graham Cole was another who was really nice, he was at a book signing and I felt sorry for him as not many people were there and when I got there I was the only person there

he was a great guy and spoke to us for a good few minutes had a few photos

Larry Lamb is one of my favourites, I met him at a book signing and had my photo with him but my camera didn't go off, so got one of his guys to take the picture XD was a lovely guy, everyone that I know that's met him say he is such a lovely guy and is very appreciative of his fame.

Not meeting but I've been tweeted by Ant and Dec, I said how much im a superfan of theirs, Dec replied with a lovely message saying thanks and wished me a lovely day.

Keith Chegwin follows and I DM him some times he is a great guy

Bob Monkhouse was a legend, met him at a lottery show, jokes were near the knuckle and the stories blue but he held the audience in the palm of his hand, nice guy.

Bruce Forsyth in two words - obnoxious knut.

Also met Margaret Thatcher when we organised her book signing. Let's just say a fair amount of whisky was involved, but she was very normal

Also met Fergie and Princess Diana. Fergie was much better looking close up than her pictures. Diana was not pretty but absolutely luminous and enveloped by a cloud of charisma. Met Dodi Fayed too and he was good looking, charming but pretty thick, coked up and absolutely under the command of his father. I have no difficulty at all in believing that on the night in question in Paris he was ringing him for instructions.

A family member grew up on Scotland Rd and remembers "ms White" very well. She was a scruffy, snotty-nosed kid who was only clean after a trip to the local swimming baths.

I have met many celebs in my line of work in the past and a few stand out.

Emlyn Hughes - We talked football for a few hours. He seemed to hate Alan Shearer for some reason. Seemed ok. Smoked lots.

Simon Weston - Top guy. Told me that before he was burned nobody listened to him but now he opens his mouth and everybody does! Had time for everybody.

Sonique - My Sister wanted a picture while she was on the decks, my sister had to retake the photo many times as it wouldn't come out right yet Sonique pulled the same pose around 6 times as she worked! She even came down for a dance with our crowd on the floor!

KISS - Lunatics. Requested a large mirror and biscuits. Mirror was left smashed the next day with white power on segments of the mirror.

The Supremes - Very quiet all of them! Polite but quiet.

John Leslie - Idiot who was full of himself. Chased girls all night long and acted a drunk prat. Leery.

Dwight York - Very nice man. Really cheerful to everybody.

Jeremy Clarkson - Rude. Full of himself.

Totally agree, met him whilst he was doing Panto at my mates work last year, he is a bit mutton jeff nowadays after contracting that illness though!

I went to the opening of the Crazy Horse show with Kelly Brook in last night.

Louie Spencer was there, and soooo unlike his tv persona! Before the show I was in the VIP area and while everyone else was mingling he just sat in the corner with a right face on. No prancing about then!

The only other memorable one was Katie Price's make-up artist/bff, who walked into the audience late (bearing in mind he'd been in the VIP area for an hour before and we all got escorted to our seats 10 minutes before the show started), and stood around trying to draw attention to himself.

Denise Welsh, Jamelia, Gizzi Erskine (?) were lovely.

Joe Pasquale, Rav Wilding and Daniella Westbrook all used the same gym as me. Joe was very unassuming and quiet, Rav walked around in ridiculously huge headphones but Daniella was so annoying. She used to chat with her 2 friends all the way through an exercise class, they'd giggle and muck about constantly, talking really loudly and that's really off putting when you're trying to concentrate and work hard.

Went off Bruce Forsyth when i saw a documentary about him. He came across as a grumpy old git (thats the polite version) not endearing in the slightest so I switch off when hes trying to crack jokes on telly.

I met John Challis aka Boycie from Only Fools and Horses today

I was in town and saw him posing for pictures with the little yellow three wheeled car from the show. He was signing his autobiographies in the local bookshop. I was a bit embarrassed to meet him as I'd literally rolled out of bed this morning, got dressed and gone out to do some food shopping, I looked a state. But he was really nice in person, nothing like Boycie thankfully

He had a conversation with everyone who met him and thanked them for coming in, and he talked me into letting my son take a picture of me with him
