Weirdly a lot of her fans have said she's particularly nice to her fans and is so appreciative of the support? Maybe she was being rushed on?
On the contrary, Frankie Cocozza was at a night club near to me recently and everyone said he was a Class A t*sser Met Frankie the same night and he made the effort to talk to me, gave my dad a handshake, said he didn't deserve to be on X Factor and then the day after, he'd been chucked out. |

to be fair to mcfly it is quite a weird thing to have happened and i cant believe how much you put them down saying they shouldn't have written an autobiography, crappy pop album etc you were clearly a fan of them at one point just because they laughed at something which lets be honest is quite funny you changed your whole opinion on them? why havent you laughed about it instead of taking it to heart!!!

Hmm, I was in the VIP lounge of X Factor, every other contestant was taking pictures and signing autographs with fans. What does she do? Walk into the lounge with her Beats Headphones on and ignores everyone. I politely asked for a picture and she shouted, "NO LATAAAAAA" and stomped off.
Met Frankie the same night and he made the effort to talk to me, gave my dad a handshake, said he didn't deserve to be on X Factor and then the day after, he'd been chucked out. I've got no trouble believing that.

It's what's called growing up and maturing. Back then, I was so taken in by their pretty boy image that I was too daft to realise that in all honestly, they were nothing THAT special, effectively just a manufactured boy band with instruments. I'm sure they've slagged off many of the millions of fans they've met down the years, but in my case it was actually done publicly, which was going too far.
So many posts have given you attention. Please, can we get back on topic? Thank you very much. |

Met over 80 celebs but the ones who stand out as nicest are:
Dappy (N-Dubz) - Met him 3 times now, he's lovely and invited me onto his tour bus after the closing night if his show on Friday night. I've also met Fazer and Tulisa, they're lovely too! Tinie Tempah ensured he had a picture with everyone waiting, he was lovely! Frankie Cocozza and Little Mix were the nicest contestants of X Factor 2011, all of them taking the time to meet fans. Also highlights include Justin Bieber being lovely, Rizzle Kicks, Professor Green is very shy but really nice and the list goes on.. Not so nice.. Misha B, Tyger Drew-Honey from Outnumbered and Chipmunk. All seemed to want to be elsewhere than to meet fans.

Misha B. hardly a surprise. She was downright unpleasant and up herself on last years x factor. At least hr career has not taken off.

I'm really sorry to lower the tone and I'm half expecting a ban but I saw something last night that immediately reminded me of this thread.

I guess some celebs do change over the years, some for the better, some for the worse. I think Toyah Willcox admitted to being full of herself and arrogant in her younger years and having mellowed since. A friend of mine was really upset when her daughter was at an event with her as a child and she was horrible to the kids there. If they work through their ego issues (let's face it, it's tempting to get a bit above yourself if you suddenly get famous, especially when young), you gotta give credit to those who come out the other side as decent.

Let's move on from McFools, and concentrate on the GOOD celebs out there. Like I said, it may not have worked out well with them, but I have met many others whom I've got on extremely well with. It's even better when they remember you after more than one meeting, and even remember your name and show an interest in you and what you have to say,
On a slightly different tack, has anyone here met anyone who you'd class as an important person i.e. royalty or politicians? I remember I got very close to Prince Charles a few years back at a museum opening event , I personally didn't speak to him myself, but I saw him meeting and greeting members of the public in the street, he seemed like a decent chap. |

Got talking to a girl (Im only 23 no funny looks!) on a flight from Atlanta to Heathrow in October and she told me about an incident earlier last year at her work, a lasertag/arcade type place, where a very famous young Canadian male popstar paid to have the whole arcade locked down for himself.
Later on in the day he was losing at lasertag in a mixed group of normal people and broke down crying, threw his equipment everywhere and tried to break other peoples, and immediately his security escorted everyone to leave, refunding their money. |

joan collins
clip of joan collins being.... joan, not sure if it can be classed as nasty but she certainly upset the guy giving her the painting if you read his comment about meeting her and then the bit where she says through gritted teeth " i would like to see my friends " is her at her bitchy best http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7R_3_rI2PY

Was standing outside a pub in Soho a few weeks ago (having a cig
) when Sienna Miller walked towards me. At first I wondered if it was her as she was just on her own and wasn't sure she would be able to do that! Anyway, I called her name and she was lovely and took a photo with me. You could have picked my mate off the floor when I went in and showed him the photo ..... thank God for camera phones!!

Years ago I saw Roy Hattersley (Labour MP) standing alone on a platform at New street staton looking as though he was overseeing his estate. Everybody was veering around him with about 15 feet to spare.

I'm glad I'm not a celeb, I often get told to cheer up and that I'm giving daggers. I'm neither fed up or looking at anyone funny, I just have that look about me at times unfortunately. |

Blimey, now those in the public eye are being commented on how they appear to be looking/standing etc.

My accent should have been on the people walking around him. I did not know till much later that RH generated enough dribble to out a fire out when he speaks to you.

Has anyone ever met Dermot O'Leary/ Holly Willoughby/ Christine Bleakley?
I'm always interested in what well known TV presenters/personalities are actually like off camera. |
