Met Eve Myles, Gwen from Torchwood at Collectormania today. Even more beautiful in real life than on tv and with a lovely welcoming smile. I know she was being paid to be nice to people but she was absolutely lovely to talk to and made my day.

I live in Zurich and I met Tina Turner several times as my in-laws were her neighbours from her old address. She never bothered to say good morning or even reply to my occasional hellos. I don't know her personally so I cannot judge her character from these brief bumpings into her but for sure she doesn't strike me as an overly warm person. My parents-in-law said she was very strange: one day she would smile and ask how are you and other days she would ignore them completely. I think she has had several cosmetic procedures done but she is... how to put it... not so very pretty in the flesh with no makeup on. Out of the many times I saw her, only once she had no hat on and I can assure you that she wear wigs. I'm 5'10'' so her height didn't impress me but yes, she is tall and has a big bum, LOL. Her posture bothered me somehow, I don't know.

I often met local TV personalities and even US actors in restaurants but it's quite normal here. When I worked at a department store on the Banhnhofstrasse, I got to talk to Jay Kay, Kyle Minogue (really small and so terribly annoying. At last my boss gave her all for free... long story....), Jean Claude van Damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger (I was surprised at how bad his German was), Sir Michael Caine, Gerard Dépardieu (ok, he only cared to check if his wines were displayed as he had requested....) and a few more whose names now I cannot recall. It's not uncommon to meet Italian VIPs here (guess they use the Swiss banks and I'm not joking!). My fave was Giorgio Armani. So very kind and he complimented me on my Italian - he laughed loudly when I told him I actually was Italian.

I'll end this by saying that the best looking celeb was Simon Le Bon. Incredibly handsome but so sure of his good looks that it was a major turn off. His vanity must have no confine.

Does the porn star Rocco Siffredi count as a celebrity? Well, he has a boyfriend here, yes a BOYFRIEND, whom he visits often... He always buys plenty of white chocolate and Maraschino truffles...

Yes, and check out "I'm gonna be strong" and "It hurts to be in love."

I know there's loads of others but those are among my favourites.

Why was Kylie annoying? She always seems nice if a tad cold

From remarks I have read from her fans, she has always seem nice, but I've come across negative comments too. This is why I prefer reading accounts from those who have worked with celebs or encountered them on a professional basis, these people tend to be more frank because the celebs will not put on a nice facade with them.

I read an interview with Harry Reems once and he said, in his experience, most male pornstars are bixsexual.

Yes that's the one. Everyone seems to remember Gene's hit "24 Hours From Tulsa", yet it only made No. 5 in the charts. Strangely, "Princess in Rags", charted higher. My particular favourite is "Half Heaven, Half Heartache" and his original hit "Town Without Pity".
Edit: I got out my old CDs and singles to listen to him again. and rediscovered a single that he'd signed to me, it reads "To my doll operator, lots of love Gene"

Not met as in talked to, but many moons ago I went to the Clapham Grand to see the reformed Buzzcocks play (first time reunion tour). Mr Lamarr was at the bar for a lot of the evening, with a very hard done by look on his face every time someone noticed him, sighing and rolling his eyes, I did want to point out less people may have noticed him if he hadn't been dressed in white denim trousers and a white denim jacket, which under neon lighting gave him a lovely blue glow which could be seen right across the hall.

That sounds so cute!
I love the guy's taste in music, it's such a shame he's not doing his radio show anymore.

I met Eddie the other weekend, I didn't expect to so it was a lovely surprise.

I was at V Festival and he was headlining the comedy stage, after his performance he came round the side to meet a few people, not many were left in the tent, but he met about 7 or 8 of us, had his picture taken with us and chatted to us, genuinely lovely guy.

Being such a big name I expected him to be a bit stuck up, but he was really great, my photo didn't turn out good, so he got someone else to take another photo of us

Chuck Billy, what a legend. Hope he's in good health.

Over The Wall was the song of my youth, tbh.

Met Neil Clough from this years series of The Apprentice at a jobs fair hosted by the BBC where he gave a talk today. He's a really nice guy, very down to earth, humble and gave a fantastic talk about his motivation, inspiration for his career and journey on The Apprentice. He happily took pics, chatted with everybody and gave autographs for people afterwards. Had a brief chat with him about the apprentice, got his autograph and a picture. He's actually very good looking in the flesh! I think I might have a crush. Lol

Met Tom Pellereau from series 7 of The Apprentice at the Clothes Show Live last year at his Stylfile stand. He was ever so lovely as he was on the show. He looked tired, a lil overwhelmed but he happily spoke with people, signed their stylfile files and was nothing short of lovely. I was too shy to ask for a photo though!! xx

I used to work at the NFT so my encounters were brief...

Kevin spacey - lovely, friendly, polite,
Sigourney Weaver - aloof, self absorbed.
Quentin Tarentino - desperate to make an impression.
Neil Pearson - excellent manners.
Yoyo Ma - so surrounded up up themselves people that you never get to see him.
Joe Pasquale - nice chap, not quite so squeeky
Jarvis Cocker - attention seeking.
and a few more.
