Although not a fan of his music he does seem nice, not so long ago he done a gig in Hertford and donated cash for the breast screening charity for a hospital trust the trust had posters up for it.

Stuart Pearce - didn't speak but signed my book for me. Tbf, it was after a game.
Rob Newman - lovely man. Naff comedian but a very nice guy, who took time to speak to me before his gig. John Bishop - was late for his gig but still took a few mins to pose for photos and sign my book, he even mentioned myself and the other two guys who were waiting at the beginning of the show. Jimmy Carr - nice guy, was chatting for about 5 mins after his gig. Signed my book but wouldn't do photos. Fair enough though, he took the time to chat to everyone. Totally changed my opinion of him. Omid Djalili - top bloke! Justin Moorhouse - again, another top bloke, had a photo. Trevor Dwyer Lynch - Patrick from Corrie, nice guy. Dave Spikey - had a brief chat, a photo and got his autograph. Nice guy. Hoping to meet Alan Carr, Michael Barrymore, Kevin Bridges, Peter Kay, Jason Byrne, Frank Skinner, Al Murray, Bruce Foxton, Bryan Ferry & Terry Christian. Does anyone have any stories good or bad?? |

I've known Nik Kershaw for nearly thirty years (gulp!) and in all that time I can say he's never once been grumpy. He's really sweet, worries about his fans, and always spends time talking to them, posing for pictures, signing autographs and generally being a really great guy. My health flared badly a couple of years ago when I was supposed to go to a gig, a few days later I received a personalised signed VIP pass in the post... made my day.

My most memorable one was meeting Freddie Mercury in Biba in London in the 70's. He was so different from what I expected. A very nice man.
And Bryan Ferry was lovely too. |

Am spending a few hours with Michel Roux Jr next year as part of a group of 12 who he gives a cookery lesson to and then we eat the meal we have prepared together. Can't wait as he is my favourite tv chef. So hope he doesn't turn out to be a dick. Hope to post here afterwards saying what a top bloke he is

If it's being paid for I'm sure he'll be charming.

He comes across like this in many an interview, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Really liked Peter Kay's stuff until I'd seen him appear on talk shows and the like a few times. He's a very selfish entertainer. Talks over people, butts in when his 'turn' is over, has to be the centre of attention and comes across as quite rude and abrasive. Like the naughty kid in the classroom who just has to interrupt everything because they think what they have to say is far more interesting and funny than anyone else's contribution. Gets annoying very fast.

There's an anecdote elsewhere about him introducing another comedian and basically ruining the guy's entire act by doing his jokes or punchlines before he had the chance to come on stage. He also was criticised for releasing two live show DVDs a year apart, with basically the same material in both which fans felt a bit of a deceptive rip off.
He's had a lower profile in more recent times so maybe he's used up his range of ideas and can't generate new ones. Or maybe he's peed off the best of his writers. |

Tina from S Club 7 nearly ran me over in Hammersmith a few yeaars ago. It was my fault as I wasn't paying attention when crossing the road but SHE apologised! (Well, she mouthed "SORRY!" from the window and smiled at me).

Was out for dinner the other night with a friend I've not seen for years. She manages a restaurant in the US and was telling me about her famous customers (it's in a well thy neighbourhood).
Was gutted to hear her nightmare customer is Ben Stiller - apparently very arrogant, rude and demanding (her friend went to work as his assistant for a while but couldn't stick it, he was that bad). She said most others, including Richard Gere, Dave Grohl, Bill and Hillary Clinton, are very normal and very friendly.

My father in law has met Peter Capaldi on a professional basis and has nothing but nice words to say about him. Apparently he is a really lovely bloke, (not a surprise considering the utterly delightful video he sent to a fan recently) and a dream to work with. I am a huge Doctor Who fan so I was so happy to hear this.

Everything I've heard about Freddie that he was actually a very quiet man away from the spotlight.

Agree. My sister and her husband are very good friends with a very well known actor who shall remain nameless. They met for lunch once, and the number of people who came up to their table asking for a autograph was unbelievable. He took it all in good grace though.

I'm sorry, but I don't get what was so rude about Selena's actions. It's none of people's' business why she came to London and for how long. Assuming she was asking for drugs from the hotel reception is crazy. And she might have actually been busy/feeling ill and didn't want to take pictures at that time. That's not rude. Fans can sometimes act really entitled. She wasn't insulting anyone, just simply said no and walked away.
- She didn't ask the hotel reception. She asked a man that was with her who looked like her friend. Anyway... I kind of regret making that post. I could get in trouble

- She said it in a rude tone and screwed up her face also. The fans were being polite. They were in an open area where anyone was welcome.
