Once saw Dave Prowse in a video game shop promoting a Spectrum Star Wars game. I was too starstruck to go up to him and speak. I knew him more from Green Cross man.

One of my teachers at school in the late 70s said he did his national service with Windsor Davies. Described him as "a quiet man"

Seen this thread a few times but have never posted in it, here goes my lot. Mostly good experiences, I must say:

Rupert Grint- Really really lovely, which I was thrilled about! Love Harry Potter and he didn't disappoint.

Ben Whishaw- Nice enough but a little aloof, think he's perhaps just a little shy.

Colin Morgan- Really pleasant and easy to talk to.

Brendan Coyle- A very funny and nice man.

Rob Brydon- A bit of a mixed one. Saw him once and was sworn at for saying 'hello', then another time he was really friendly and cheerful.

Dan Smith (from Bastille)- Incredibly humble and very, very nice. Chuffed as I love Bastille.

Mel Giedroyc- Just as she comes across on TV. Really genuine and nice.

Nigel Harman- Lovely and happy to chat.

Jenny Eclair- Awesome! Really nice lady.

Louie Spence- Nice, a lot calmer than his persona but that's to be expected surely.

Kristin Scott Thomas- Not pleasant at all. A wonderful actress but she's very aware of that.

Louis Walsh- Nice enough, posed for a picture and a chat.

David Essex- Really sociable and nice.

Lee Mead, Ann Mitchell, Marc Elliot and Phaldut Sharma were all lovely too. (I'm running out of adjectives here)

I think that's everybody.

Met Mel B and Emma last year, both great and hot. Mel was really cheeky and she slapped Emma's booty.

Also met Helena Bonham Carter in London back in 05, such a beautiful woman and naturally witty aswell

Son was approached by Jonna Lumley when he was walking through London this week. She was on her mobile phone. she stopped him , told him "he was the most stunningly handsome young chappy she had seen in a long time, what is your full name, I simply must take a photo with you" she then took a picture of them together and asked him for one of him on his own. He said she was really nice , he said it was very funny but rather bizarre, he did add that he was star struck. I think it's made his week!

I can imagine Kristin Scott Thomas is rather haughty and Ben Whishaw rather shy.

There's something slightly creepy about that story. Reverse the sexes and the outcome might have been rather different.

Mark Wright - Fantastic bloke. We'd had a few drinks in the hotel he was staying in. He'd just got back from a jog. It was raining down. He was very polite and took a photo with us after getting changed into dry clothes. Even better looking in person tbh

Mark comes across as very humble which I like.

He is also gorgeous too.

I saw Mel B before she became famous when she was Miss Leeds Weekly News 19whateveritwas. She was in the Shoulder Of Mutton pub (now sadly no more) being very loud and demanding to be the centre of attraction.

I do recall thinking she was very attractive but her persona was off-putting.

Nice to see she's been unaffected by fame then

.

I disagree.

It's not slightly creepy at all. It's extremely creepy. What on earth was the woman thinking!

Wonderful! It'd make my week as well. Joanna is getting on a bit now but was stunning in her day, and is still a very attractive woman for her age.

Nothing 'creepy' about it at all. Most men would love that sort of attention. Our society has become so PC and do-gooder-ish about this sort of thing.

I remember back in the day there was a documentary of Mel, where her mother said she has always been that way. I liked her though when I met her, very cheeky and a filthy laugh. Would definitely give her my last rolo too

She is charming but it is very weird to stop someone and ask to have their photo taken with them because they are so attractive. Weird and creepy. It has got nothing to do with being PC - it is a strange thing to do.

Joanna Lumley is great! There aren't many stars I'd be bothered about meeting, but Ms Lumley is one of them I would

I think it's quite funny to see a celeb doing to a member of the public what must happen to them on a daily basis

Selena Gomez - I've posted about her on here before. Met her twice now. Not a nice person. Diva.
Julian Barrett - Shy and reserved.
Mark Wright - Short and loud.
Myleene Klass - smug
Miley Cyrus - friendly, sweet
Scarlett Johansson - even more gorgeous in person. She was pleasant, although a bit guarded and distant.
Jake Wood - very nice and friendly

Members of public want their photos taken with celebs because of their fame - not because they think they are attractive. Not sure of your age, but why don't you give it a go - go up to a pretty girl tomorrow and ask if you can take her picture. Report back on the reaction.
