Had to deal with this cretin on a number of occasions and he is one of the worst individuals you are ever likely to meet.Even to fellow actors he is deplorable.Vile vile man.

I met Liam Neeson one, I was only a kid at the time though, but I remember him being very pleasant. I wouldn't have known who he was only for the film Michael Collins was out at the time and I'd been to see it.

Jimmy Carr is a delight, met him after a gig, a total charmer. He's my "weird - crush" now

The only horrible person I've ever met was Gay Byrne (probably only the Irish will know who I'm on about) horrible rude arrogant man who smelled like moth balls!

My mum always said the ginger middle aged 60s singer was fake and judging by what other member comments have been like I now definately believe it.

Cannot believe people like the smarmy X-Factor judge; he's horrible. He believes he is an Adonis when in reality he wears his chinos ups to his man-boobs...ladies man? Yeak OK only if you visit the ladies of Bankok.

The lady BBC news reader NK looks like a jar of sourkrought too.

She's quite well know for being a cow, Since her star has faded somewhat she's no longer as protected in the press.

Much as I think the man's got as much musical knowledge as a particularly stupid snail and has a shocking idea of what makes good music, I have a friend who's met Simon a couple of times, in the course of her job, and he really is, apparently, a pretty nice guy behind the scenes

The show SS used to make me cringe...

Just find it hard to believe, his and his kind (incl the man who carries water during the 80s and beyond) have pretty much destroyed pop music in Britain.

A friend of mine met Liam Neeson in a bar in Soho(not that kind of bar!)many years ago.
he asked him to sign his beermat and Liam shook his hand and said really nicely i dont do that kind of thing, but he was apparently really gracious about it.
i think he thought more and more people might approach him while he was out for a quiet drink.
Gay Byrne always reminds me of a character off Father Ted.

the only time ive seen him is on the infamous Boyzone clip.

I met Katie price and ok, it was a short conversation but she was lovely. I found it really polite of her to say Thanks for waiting and it wasn't in a sarcastic tone.

I am still kicking myself for not entering the competition of meeting her.

Being old-ish and a bit of an autograph hunter, I've met quite a few. I also work as a film and tv extra for an extra bob or two (will actually be in a film with Natalie Portman later this year for £75 a day wooh - have to wear a bikini though).

Bill Murray was wonderful - just like you'd imagine him to be. Very friendly yet something shy about him too.

Christine Taylor who is married to Zoolander was beautiful - very radiant and smiley.

Keira Knightly is very quiet. Not rude, but didn't go out of her way to be friendly either.

Steven Spielberg is extremely shy - almost painfully so. He's very hairy and a lot shorter than you'd think. Tom Hanks keeps himself to himself (this was during filming of Saving Private Ryan).

Other peeps I've met - I met Princess Diana at a homeless conference and she looked at me like I was the most important person she had ever seen. Without doubt, she was the MOST charismatic person ever. Her eyes were intense and just entrapped you.

When I worked in the Europa hotel in Belfast I met a few celebs, like Westlife - Kian is the ONLY decent one. The rest sucked. Ronan Keating is horrible - he treated me like I was a piece of rubbish. The guy in Emmerdale - plays Andy - is unbelievably gorgeous in real life. MUCH hotter than he is on the telly. Has a fantastic physique and is a real nice guy to boot.

Kylie is like a dot - I couldn't believe how tiny she is. Like a little doll. Elle MacPherson is gorgeous but not as gorgeous as she looks in magazines.

Iain Duncan Smith is nice for an MP but was a bit of a ladies man and leered a lot which was awkward.

The Corrs are stunning - the one who played the violin lived just up the road from me and cycled everywhere.

Alex Higgins is a rude sh1t..he told me to F off just the other week when I tried to squeeze past him in Tesco.

Matin O'Neill the Villa manager was a real gent - very unassuming and lovely.

Patrick Kielty was a bit ignorant when I met him - thinks he's funnier than he is.

In other words, you can't always rely on a single meeting to form an opinion about people.

Even famous celebs can have bad days or be misunderstood. Or some celebs are just playing nice.

I do realize that some of you have had more than one encounter with celebs, but still it's not always carved in stone.

And not all celebs are in it for the fame. Some are actually in it for the work.”

I used to meet Martin Shaw a fair amount in the 1980s/early 1990s.

Martin has a TERRIBLE reputation but he was never anything but nice when I met him.

I used to really fancy him & couldn't believe it when he turned up in my high street to open a new shop. As I waited nervously for his autograph he said ' it's ok; I don't bite' - & I'm thinking 'shame'!!

My brother met Dec in Antigua years ago. He said he was really nice - he'd been sunbathing & burnt his feet & couldn't walk as a result! He was happy enough though according to bro!”

I used to see Cannon and Ball, Tom was always my favourite. He has beautiful eyes!

She's really tiny as well!!

He was all bent over staring at the shelf - he looked like he was 90 - and I said 'Excuse me' as I squeezed past so I was polite, and he looked up and told me to F off. He kept staring at me and swore a few more times. It took a second for me to register who it was the cheeky git I was so shocked!!

I can't remember if i've posted this waaaay back but I've known Robert Plant and Chris Rea since 1991 and they are both sweethearts and the most down to earth people you could wish to meet.
I'm friendly with Lee and Zac Starkey(Ringo Starr's kids). Ringo who I have only met a handful of times, has a bit of an attitude.

I met Freddie Starr down in Bournemouth years ago in summer season, when someone else I followed was on the bill and I went a few times.

He used to nip outside for some fresh air during the support acts and we used to sometimes catch him and he was always really nice - but it was before he went off the rails somewhat I suppose.

Went to see The Clash on their Combat Rock tour in the early 80s. We arrived a bit early and, being too young to get into pubs, we were sitting with a few other fans with our carry out on the grassy slope near the Edinburgh Playhouse - where the Omni Centre cinema/leisure complex/car park is now.

We noticed some of the other fans stirring and realised that Joe Strummer and Topper Headon were walking down towards us from Princes Street. They signed our ticket stubs and were genuinely nice and chatty with us. I was too star-struck to say anything interesting.

I met Sherrie Hewston a few years ago after our Local panto and she was really nice. She was going around with a charity bucket after the show and smiled and said thank you when I put my money in.
