I can't really remember any bad celebs I've met. 99% of celebs I have met I've actively gone out of my way to go and see them and I haven't had a bad expierence with my fave celebs

Nice celebs who I've met include:

Kiether Sutherland
Westlife
David Beckham
Lee Evans
Ricky Ponting & Brett Lee - (that was only last week in Leeds during the Headingley Ashes test. I very nearly fell apart when I met Ricky I <3 him)
Westlife
Simon Cowell
Girls Aloud
John Terry
Frank Lampard

Aside from Westlife who I've met 328479 times
How do you get to meet all these people??? Maybe I've just led a very sheltered life!!

A few years back, I met a dozen or so Casualty actors when they did this play thing (think it was for charity) called 'School for Scandal', at the Bristol Old Vic.
Abs (James Redmond)
Bex (Sarah Manners)
Charlie (Derek Thompson)
Tess (Suzanne Packer)
Simon (Chris Colquhoun)
Lara(Christine Stephen-Daly)
Josh (Ian Bleasdale)
Claire (Leanne Wilson)
Roxy (Loo Brealey)
Comfort (Martina Laird)
Jim (Maxwell Caulfield)
Harry (Simon MacCorkindale)
All incredibly nice, really friendly, down to earth, more than happy to sign autographs and have pictures with the fans. Simon MacCorkindale, Chris Colquhoun and James Redmond were much taller than I imagined

I've also had the pleasure of meeting John Barrowman, who is amazing. Incredibly -and probably illegally- gorgeous in the flesh, friendly, charming, genuine, hilarious, a massive flirt, always happy to sign autographs, have picutres taken, chat to the fans, and he cares for the fans, he takes the time out, and treats everyone the same, he chats as though he's a close friend. I can't say enough great things about the guy.

Maybe someone should keep score-
Looks like the good are John Barrowman (glowing reviews), Kylie brilliant, Jack Nicholson, David Beckham, Viggo Mortensen, Dara O'Brien, Jimmy Carr, Russell Brand (almost always), Jarvis Cocker usually nice sometimes rude, Barnsey and Shearer good blokes. Madonna polite.
Babs 50/50
David Jason shy. Russ Abbott miserable, Victoria Beckham usually bad...
The bad are up himself Robson from Robson&Jerome, Alan Titchmarsh also up himself, Cilla Black universally reviled, same for Cheryl Baker, Jim Davidson a t**t, Sam Fox, Will Young also bad.

I've met loads of famous people; mostly racing drivers though.

Good:

Carol Vorderman - friendly and posed for photos.

Dannii Minogue - very warm, friendly and happy to give autographs and pose for photos.

Sir Richard Branson - again, very friendly, chatty, loved the attention.

Leo Sayer - a great guy, a real laugh and very chirpy and chatty.

George Osbourne - shook hands, spoke to him briefly.

John Prescott - loud but friendly in tone.

John Barnes - very nice and friendly, signed autographs etc.

Gordon Ramsey - in a rush but signed a few autographs and apologised that he had to dash off.

David Ginola - charming

Michael Carrick - was nice to me, called me 'mate' and signed for me.

Alpay Özalan - I was serving him in M&S when on work-experience. I asked if he'd sign a scrap of paper for me and he said "I bring you picture later." I spent the rest of the afternoon waiting and hoping he'd come back but he didn't.
The next day when I came in one of my colleagues presented me with a signed picture that apparently his wife had brought in the previous evening.

Bad:

Murray Walker - very bigheaded and arrogant. Frequently ignores fans. Not impressed at all.

Racing Drivers (past and present):

I've met most past and present F1 drivers on multiple occasions, so rather than mention them all I'll focus on some of the more prominent names.

Good:

Lewis Hamilton - don't like him as a driver but a very good person to fans.

Sir Jackie Stewart / Sir Stirling Moss / Nigel Mansell / Sir Jack Brabham / Martin Brundle / Mark Blundell - all good to fans.

Bad:

Kimi Raikkonen - idiot, very rude.
Damon Hill - extremely moody.
Robert Kubica - miserable git.

Any other drivers you'd like to know about then just ask.

Jealous!!!! Have you met Felipe Massa?

Me too (I haven't just got a thing for Aussie cricketers, honest!)

I was at Headingley last week and he was getting a bit of stick from the England fans when he ran round the boundary. He stopped and did some "stretches" (which involved him bending over and putting his bum in the air). OMG, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!!

When I was helping out at a Literature festival I met Russell T Davies who was a total gent and was really nice to me and everyone else in the crowd taking pictures and signing books - he's bloody tall had to stand on a chair to get level with him

on the other hand I think I must have met John Barrowman in off mode as he was a little snappish with me

Unless I liked a celeb, I wouldn't even give them and their ridiculous egos a second glance. If I liked them, I'd launch myself ONTO them probably ! Simon Cowell and Howard Donald would wonder what'd hit them ! I'd throw myself at Boy George's feet ! At least they'd remember me !

I used to work in an environment where various celebrities were, and I took great pleasure in not acknowledging who they were. On some occasions, I actually didn't, particularly with the footballers - oh their poor bruised egos when they were faced with me asking them what their occupation was

In my line of work, I meet famous people all the time, and let me tell you, the more famous they are, the nicer they are. The Z listers, when you can recognise them, are by far the worst. I delight in ignoring them.

I was somewhere in London only the other week and Sadie Frost was throwing her weight around, pushing in front of people and shouting out her name. LOL So not only did she think that because of her minor celebrity, she should go in front of everyone else but also she wanted everyone to know it was her. Unfortunately, she picked the wrong person to push in front of -me. I had a few choice words for her.

Hi-was that the Cheltenham Festival - 2008?
I was there as I work for a publisher - JB was a little stressed that day it has to be said!

I spoke to Gregor Fisher (Rab C Nesbitt) on the phone regarding an insurance claim once and he was lovely. Very polite and funny.

At a Childline event, Princess Diana and Esther Rantzen. Diana was breathtakingly beautiful and utterly charming and natural with the crowd of wee Glasgow wifeys. Esther was very small but perfectly nice and also spoke to the crowd.

1. She is in Ibiza for the summer
2. Where were you?
3 what were your 'choice' words?

Sounds baloney to me.
Dream on

I've met celebs through my job BUT they wouldn't remember meeting me - not that it bothers me one way or another.

I'll confess here that there are quite a few people here I have never heard of (but I'm not a big soap watcher, so that's probably why). However, I thought a couple of the comments you made seemed odd.

Jackie Woodburn (whoever she is) - perhaps you were annoying her? Pestering someone repeately for an autograph isn't exactly endearing behavior! Especially at 2am in the morning!

Antony Cotton (I know who he is) - You insulted him, then wondered why he was rude back? If I'm polite to someone, I expect them to be polite to me. That's fair enough. But I would never be rude to someone then complain if they were rude back to me. Courtesy works both ways!
