Oh completely forgot, saw the guy who played "Sinbad" in Brookside, can't remember his real name sorry! He was shopping in Norwich, nudged my friend to show her who it was and he looked up while we were both staring at him and said "yes it is me, happy now??" and stomped off. We didn't even say anything to him! Grumpy git!

-I was talking to a sales assistant in HMV about a band that were due to perform an instore show and a thin man with dyed red hair joined in the conversation. I suddenly realised it was Thom Yorke from Radiohead. As soon as he saw my face light up in recognition he was off like a shot. I didn't take it personally though!

-I also remember meeting Supergrass. The band were lovely but the lead singers girlfriend was a proper mare.

-I've met some F1 drivers, all really polite except for Jacques Villeneuve who I saw in Argos. He went up to the till without filling in a paper slip first and when they asked him to go back and write down the number he stormed out of the shop.

-I also met James May and Jeremy Clarkson in a supermarket. James May was very charming and smiley, Clarkson was a grumpy sod.

Oh, not the one with the massively curly hair and crabby last name? Aww, I like her so that's sad if she got picked on

You can tell the Corrie cast arent all that close when you see them together, i would safely say its the most divided cast of all the soaps, and i think i have worked our who an earlier poster was on about. Alot of the Corrie cast have got caught up in their own importance and think they are bigger than the show which is always a huge mistake.

Hi - I worked with him just after the World Cup and just before he got the sack - I have to say he was totally lovely - very proffesional and seemed to be very good with anyone who wanted a chat.
Very easy on the eye too!

Oh poor Thom I think he has a bit of a phobia about being 'spotted'...hence a few people seem to take him the wrong way *coughRonanKeating*. I'm glad you didn't take it personally

If I ever saw him in the street I'd be terrified of scaring him off!

I and some friends spotted Alan Carr last year on the prom in Blackpool, he was obviously in a hurry and not wanting to be spotted but nonetheless he was pleasant and polite when my friend insisted on shouting 'ALAN! I FOLLOW YOU ON TWITTER!' at him .

I have met a few celebs, not sure if I've already posted this, as there's so many pages to look back on lol.

Roger Lloyd Pack and Paul Barber: (Trigger and Denzil) from only fools and horses, 2 lovely men, who spent about 5 hours meeting fans, and shaking hands, taking photos with kids - nothing was too much trouble for them.

Paul Barber is a quiet man, didn't talk much, but very pleasant, not in the least bit rude.

Roger Lloyd Pack, was more chatty and talkative than Paul Barber - Roger shook my hand, and wished me all the best in life.

former WWE wrestler, british bulldog: the guy is sadly no longer with us, but I met him in 1994, very nice bloke, I had a quick joke with him, we was laughing, and I had a photo taken with him. - smashing bloke. god bless you David Smith.

Rosemarie: anybody remember a celeb called Rosemarie? with gingery/red hair (quite pretty)? well, she gave me a rose, at one of her live concerts in Kent, I was sitting in the front row.

My nan has her album!!! She made me listen to it! It's a picture of Rosemarie on a plain yellow background. My nan loves her, so it's good to hear she's a nice lady

Some new famous stories or ones I have found out about...

Zoe Lucker: Was out with sister in law picking up a few bits for the other half (she's pregnant) and turns out she knows her!, introduced me to her and I can tell you she is such a pleasent woman, she was really humerous and chatty and her little daughter is rather cute

Lynda Bellingham: classy, bumped into her during a conference of mine and she was just polite and also very funny

Larry Lamb: Turns out he knew my late grandfather, a very nice man who was rather interesting

and you won't be shocked by this next one...

Anthony cotton - An absoloute a**, cousin from liverpool was having a night out in manchester and said he was just rude, he was quoted saying "vodka & tonic as soon as you can do it" with a not so pleasent look on his face

Also, if your interested in your politics, I have met Hilary Benn & Harriet Harman on different occasions, Hilary was just such a charming man who was fascinated by stories we had to tell him, Harriet was nice but me not being a big fan of her I didn''t make much convosation

I'm glad somebody else, also remembers her, and not just me lol

I dont remember all that much about her though? I'm 27 now, and I was about 9 or 10 when I was sitting in the front row.

once she sung her song, she locked eyes with me, and I thought any second now, I'm going to go as red as a tomato, because I knew what she had planned. lol.

even though she was a celeb, she wasn't a well known celeb, not a popular household name, lovely woman though.

I thought I'd replied to this but my post has gone...no great loss. I've met many famous types from football due to my previous job and I have to say that Dennis Bergkamp, Xabi Alonso (who I have loved since) were lovely, total gentlemen. Steven Gerrard was very dull but not rude and Rafa Benitez was behaving 'oddly' as if he was pi$$ed. Not that I can prove it.

Lots of stories of tosser footballers but I can't be arsed reciting them as who would be surprised?

Arsene Wenger called me a stupid cow which is an achievement.
Met Sarah Michelle Gellar who was lovely but so tiny...like 5ft tall and 7stone.

I met Liam Gallagher & Nicole a few months back in a pub, and I have no bad words to say about them at all. Liam was so friendly, he hugged my friend when he could barely speak (he is a huge Oasis fan ) and posed for loads of photos.

I've never met him, but...

One of my dad's friends, lives nextdoor to snooker player Jimmy White, who is apparently a smashing bloke, not in the least bit up-himself.

Jimmy's a decent guy. Not the easiest man in the world to manage, particularly in his younger days, but he is very pleasant nonetheless.

If you're looking for a tosser from the snooker world, look no further than Peter Ebdon.
