After 1 day of Download sales

its number 84 after one day of downloads. The rest of the people in the chart have at least one whole week of download. Thats blumming brilliant for her.
Some people are just desperate to see celebs fail.

What people are pointing out is that it's pretty harsh to take this as its debut, because you can only download it at the moment and even that has only been available for a day or so. If you look at it on the download chart- a fairer comparison- it's hitting #9. When the CD is available to buy- next week- we'll know how it's doing. But given that it's hitting the top 40 (twice) on the Amazon chart just on pre-orders, I'll be amazed if it's not in the top 40 official chart once it has actually been released!

Just downloaded it - bargain at 50p!

But it hasn't only reached 84. It's number 9 on downloads today so then the midweeks come in tomorrow she is deffo top 15 at least.

Going to 84 through 10 hours of sales is actually quite good. But you don't seem to know how the charts work thesedays!

Obviously, I have gotten this all wrong.

However, it's very annoying at how rude some people are! I was simply posting a thread to let users know about Alesha's song.

I don't want to sound like I'm shooting you down or anything so I apologise if my last post sounded harsh! But the title of the thread makes it look like the single has been out for days and it's a flop! on the plus side people may see the thread and then go and download it!

being in the top 10 on itunes after one day is amazing so far and I hope she can keep climbing over the next week!

I think downloads will see her hit top 10 but I think next week the CD sales will send her into the top 3. Providing Strictly fans buy the single when out shopping.

I liked the song a lot more than I ever liked Alesha's dancing so good luck to her.

The only sad thing is that if it doesn't fail, we can't use the 'It does nothing, the song does nothing!' pun

I don't like the fact that she's slipping off the itunes chart. She got into the top really quickly and peaked at number 6 but now she's at number 10

I guess the download chart is constantly updated though so it will slip around a bit.

Ah ok... but if you go on Buzzjack (the chart site) which reguarly lists all the itunes updates, Alesha have never got higher than 9 on UK Itunes

The first time I heard it, I hated it but now I love it. I listened to it on my ipod on the way to work. It was in my head all morning.

I found her performance on Strictly a lot better than the recorded version. Was this the same for anyone else?

She peaked at 6 on Pop iTunes, shes never been higher than 9 on full iTunes so far.

She has been the number two video on I tunes for at least a week! Why would you release the video first? makes no sense to me nobody will download the single if they have the vid already! i think it's a brilliant song!

Never heard of Mystiq before SCDV. I actually feel she's a better dancer than a singer. I meant this as a compliment.

But honestly, I find this song quite bleh.
