Orange Care replacements
My phone screen has cracked and I have Orange Care but my contract is also up in 7 days.
I have read on the orange site that to replace a phone on orange care there will be a fee and that this is detailed in the booklet sent to me (and therefore binned with the rest of the junk). Can anyone tell me if it is worth me getting it replaced with orange, and what the fee might be or should I just not bother and go with a new contract phone on a new network in 7 days? |

When I cracked my screen they wouldn't replace it on Orange care. Is it just the plastic screen or the bit inside?

If youve got Orange Care Id phone and tell them the phone has a fault and see about a replacement. Ive had several phones replaced by them, absolutely no problem and usually within 24 hours
I dont remember paying more than a token fee £5 springs to mind.... course I could be making that up

Depends how the screen got cracked, was it something you did or is it merely because it's an old handset now and it's wear and tear? In any case the replacement fee is £15, it's worth getting it and then when you come to upgrade you'll have that one knocking around as a spare..

There could well be a fee for Orange care but I thought they would repair a phone with a cracked screen.

I had my phone stolen in West Africa and the replacement was sent to my home address in UK within a day or so.
Fee of £15 I think. |
