Head judge Len can say what he likes! I'll spend my money voting for whoever I like and for whatever reason I like.

If it's a serious dance competition people are after, try the World Championships or the like.

Hear hear!! They keep saying 'If you want to keep your favourite in the competition ....' - well, John & Kristina are my favourites and I have voted this year for the very first time because of them. So there nurhhhhhhh Len Goodman.

1. Yeah like "I'm a celebrity get me out of here' really is in the outback. If it really was a dance competition then the contenders would be more equal and skilled. They wouldn't have bright (well except the Rachbot) young things competing with their grannies and grandads or people with actual experience versus those that have difficulty standing without a z\immer or walking more than a few feet to the car.

2. Now I know you're having a laugh. The judges are the pits they think they are the show Oh and that Arlene's down and dirty requests puts 'Strictly Come Dancing' in a whole new light.

Then if it's a proper dance contest the judges should judge it as such, and (a) give proper criticism and (b) stop trying to shove their favourites down our throats.
But (a) they never learn and (b) Len talks such a load of rubbish at times that we can't be bothered to sort out his good comments from the bad ones, and just ignore him completely.

my money is on Heather and christine being in the bottom two, and John staying one more week. Then people will finally realise they do in fact want decent dancers and he will go the week after.

If my memory is right Chris was never actually in the bottom 2 with the public though, he sailed right through till the final!

I don't think John will win but I don't think he'll be out for a while yet. At the same time, with this bunch of celebrities I think it is more possible than usual for a bad dancer to win. This series has been a little long and uninspiring in my opinion and John has a lot going for him- great personality, great pro and great partnership...that counts for more than dancing talent in many cases so you never know.

After week 1 my dad said we should put a fiver on John to win and I just laughed but it might not have been such a bad idea lol!

I doubt John can win but I wouldn't be surprised to see him last a fair while longer. Few of the celebrities have a real likeability factor unlike previous years. I can see Austin and Jodie, but the rest are average-good dancers with little to offer in the personality department. John also has this. Whilst Tom/Lisa/Rachel/Cherie/Austin will be battling it out for the best dancer vote. Jodie is left with the journey vote. John has the underdog vote. Christine & Heather will be bottom two this week I'd guess.

I also don't think John will win.....however, I do find him very entertaining. I would like to see him and the lovely Kristina last a little longer and so will probably vote for them again this week.

What I want is to see people enjoying themselves on the dance floor - if they arent enjoying it, then how can I?

If they happen to be great dancers too (Alesha/Ramps) then it's a bonus, but with so few contestants showing enjoyment this year I will take a John (who in layman's terms is at least decent) over someone who maybe technically much better but just doesnt seem to be enjoying themselves.

Obviously there is a lot going on backstage that has dampened the spirit of the show this year. Craig didnt help when on launch night he criticised Tom's dance. A dance which arguably was the first and last time so far this series that we have actually seen a contestant give it their all and have great fun doing so too.

Jodie and John are proving to be the stars of the show as they are the only two who have not allowed harsh criticism to stop their (and hence our) fun. Lisa is the only other contestant giving me a glimmer of hope for the remainder of this year's show.

I did enjoy watching Cherie's warm-up stretches in the early weeks but as of now I would rather see John stay before her, Christine, Rachel and poor, poor Heather. It has become agonising to watch these ladies "perform."

I have little doubt that Austin will win this year's show in terms of technical ability, but, as of this moment in time, it will be John Sergeant (along with Jodie) who I will look back on as making this year's show watchable. In that sense, they are more worthy of the term "winner" than anyone else on the SCD dance floor, regardless of who eventually lifts the trophy.

Lets hope those "decent dancers" you referred to actually start to have fun in the very near future eh?
