Yes he was still presenting while appearing on Strictly. They did a Day in the Life of on ITT and it showed him in the studio doing GMTV and then going off to rehearsal.

At least they have exhausted all GMTV presenter dance options now. Until Fiona's replacement comes anyway.

They exhaused the presenters but I would love to see Penny Smith on the show - partnered with Brendan would be great!

I hope her dancing is better than her singing!

Perhaps they'll make the new presenter candidates do a dance audition!

She's very small I believe so more likely to be partnered with Vincent.

And don't forget Ben Shepherd.

Didn't realise Penny is a small woman, so perhaps Vincent would be a better partner.

I was thinking more in terms of the temperament with Brendan. To me Penny seems a real strong character who would put up with no nonense, the first real match for Brendan. Would love to see their rehearsals!

Nah, unless she was a decent dancer, Brendan would lose interest. It'd be like Fiona or Claire - not very interesting.

Ben Shepherd hasn't done it yet though.

Sorry I didn't mean to quote you, I meant to quote the abbot, but I think Penny would be hilarious, I seriously think she would be as bad, if not worse, than Fiona.

I vaguely remember someone saying on here last year that Ben Shepherd has done proper dance training (ballet IIRC, but don't quote me on it lol! ) so wouldn't be allowed to do it, although that doesn't seem to have stopped other celebs appearing previously has it.

BA Hons in Dance, Drama and Theatre Arts. So I think that excludes him...
