Games on t-mobile G1
Hi, does anyone know if there are any or will be any games developed for the G1 (or Android OS) as was the iPhone? Could be a deal breaker for my mate.
Also are there many games available on the Windows 6.1 platform? Cheers |

Good news for Android owners. Theres a Gameboy emulator already available through marketplace, similar to the one for Jailbroke iPhones. Obviously Android doesnt need to be hacked.

Kind of surprised an emulator is available through the official marketplace. To be of any use an emulator needs ROMs and ROMs are illegal under the copyright law of most countries.
I can't see any big devs and publishers making games for Android just yet tbh. The G1 won't sell by the bucketload like the iPhone does so it doesn't make as much financial sense. I think you'll be stuck with a fair bit of homebrew style stuff. |

Most games on the iPhone you have to pay for. Most game developers will not give their games away. It is going to be difficult to convince the open source community to start paying for games and they don't have to pay for any other software only the hardware and service.
