No one phone has every feature that everybody will want at a price that everybody will think is fair. It's a totally ambiguous question. People could list lots of phones that are good, maybe even which one they have and if they like it, but you're still going to be better off thinking about what you need, looking at what's available then going from there.

the touch diamond is fantastic, its not as big as usual touch screen phones, which is great in my opinion it doesnt looks so brickish.

only thing i dont like is i'll need to charge the phone every night, but i can overlook that tbh.

also, the back cover is sorta diamond shaped, which looks amazing. anyone thats even remotely bothered about the aesthetics of their touch screen should go with the diamond.

Ok so I have a few people who are basically saying that there is no Touchscreen phone that is perfect in all it's features. That is fair enough.

However while there may be no "flawless" phone there can still be one that is better overall than the rest. I know this is a matter of personnal opinion. But every little bit of feedback helps.

I started this thread because it seems that there has been a plethora of touch screen phones coming on to the market recently. So I thought I would seek opinions and feedback from this forum.

If you go for the Omnia you will probably have the best overall featured phone - but you have to be happy with the Window Mobile operating system - which I am happy with and have been used to on HTCs in the past.

I've just got the LG Renoir as a free upgrade. The person I was dealing with was very honest with his opinions about the phones on offer (what was crap, what was good) So when he suggested the Renoir I went for it.

I've had a right old play with it and I have to say it is quite possibly the best phone I have ever owned. The touchscreen is very responsive, with just a very slight delay. it does that tilt the other way thing when you turn the phone on it's side and does all kinds of other stuff that makes me go wow. What with the 8 mp camera and a dice game where you (gently) shake and flick the phone to shake and roll the dice, it really is the dogs gonnads.

I had the Samsung Tocco before this and that also is a good phone. Touchscreen is good and I would say a tad faster than the Renoir.

I know you said to ignore the iPhone but a JD Power survey ranked it the best smartphone money could buy putting it miles ahead of the competition.

The BB Storm could be the best in terms of the touch screen interface but the lack of WiFi is a significant minus. I use the WiFi on my Bold regularly at home for browsing.
