Wired's Gadget lab video podcast (gadget reviews)
Web design tv (vodcast for web designers)
Joe Cartoon (funny cartoon vodcast)
gametrailers vodcast (pc/console game reviews)

Alan Colmes show (left wing political podcast)

Keith and the girl (girlfriends favourite vodcast)
Kermode has to be recommended even if, like me, you totally disagree with some of his opinions - it's huge fun. Being a big fan of American sports I love Pardon The Interruption and Around The Horn.
As for video - Best Of Youtube is very good if it's very irregularly posted but I really love the Discovery podcasts particularly the Space ones.
Mark Kermode & Simon Mayo's film reviews. Agree with most on here a must listen to weekly
Scott Mills daily he makes me laugh
Fighting Talk - great sports quiz type podcast from 5live
Friday night comedy from Radio4 - la de da
Sportsweek - great weekly sports news from 5live

""While one might expect speeding up to reduce comprehension, Herb Friedman says that "Experiments have shown that the brain works most efficiently if the information rate through the ears--via speech--is the "average" reading rate, which is about 200-300 wpm (words per minute), yet the average rate of speech is in the neighborhood of 100-150 wpm."
