Government advice for cat and dog owners, plus an alternative view on the matter :D

I couldn't resist sharing this

excerpt:

Quote:
“Cat and dog owners are to be told to provide "entertainment" and "mental stimulation" for their pets under new government advice.”

.........but much better than that is this alternative take on the issue

excerpt:

Quote:
“CATS last night thanked the government for its interest in their welfare but insisted they were fine.”

Separate litter tray for each cat!!! OK, so how do I persuade my 5 to each use their 'own' toilet? Names on the trays perhaps, suggestions on a postcard please...
Add to this that Gavin much prefers crapping outside the litter tray anyway....

I wondered that too - I only have two cats, but each prefer to eat out of the other's side of the food dish while they're not looking - so I'm not sure how separate litter trays would work .

I don't need the government to tell me to entertain my cats.. they let me know very quickly when I'm expected to amuse them. Normally about 4 in the morning...

An utterly condescending statement of the obvious by the government.

What was one of the things I heard, "dogs fed too much will become overweight" No shit Sherlock !!!

I let my cats play on my WOW account sometimes. They have their own characters on a seperate server to mine. One is a Mage and the other a Warlock*

I trust the government finds this satisfactory!

*Not really. Warlocks are too hard to level.

i think it probably means you need 5 litter trays because you have 5 cats rather than the cats all having to shit in the same one?

Well I'd agree that the more cats you have the more litter trays you need but I still think one each is a bit excessive. My lot have 3 trays between the 5 of them, cleaned out at least twice a day. I've never noticed them queueing up....

My rabbits blind. Will the government be sending some sort of visual impairment team round to give me some tips for therapy to improve his vision or is it just dogs and cats they care about this week?
