I was amazed to hear a Comet salesman trying to sell a £100 HDMI cable to someone , whilst perusing the Plasma TV's the other day. Now surely being a digital signal the cable either works or it doesn't.. I saw them in In inExcess for £3, so what are Comet up to ? Are HDMI cables the new 'extended warranty plan' style rip off ?
