Tom's accident - man flu?
Butterflygirl

I just read this and I admit it did make me smile a bit (well more of a grimace, my teeth hurt but that's another story)

A source said: "He was left in terrible pain and his first thought was that he had dislocated his shoulder.

"He decided to sleep on it but by the morning it was clear the pain wasn't going to go away and he had to get it checked out. Tom just hopes that it gets better and he can compete in Saturday's show."

Blah, blah.......

A BBC spokeswoman confirmed that Chambers will take to the dancefloor this weekend, saying: "It's only a grazed elbow............."

Poor old Tom, one minute its a 'dislocated shoulder' next 'a grazed elbow' either that's a serious case of 'man flu' or that BBC spokeswoman was being a bit unsympathetic

It's probably the media blowing it out of proportion rather than Tom himself.

I agree. He didn't seem that injured or in pain on Monday night, and I doubt he's going to let it affect him when he's obviously out to try and better Austin's score.

I find it funny how Austin did QS last week and now Tom has it. Maybe Tom'll have the rumba next week or something

Looked no more than a scratch on the arm to me - but then we're constantly reminded of Austin's rugby injuries - lack of ligaments etc. Not a lot of evidence of them on a Saturday night.

It's clear that Andrew's injury was genuine - he and Olga had to remove the knee slide from their routine.

Tom hasn't mention it IIRC. It's all 'sources' and the media.

It's journo-flu, methinks.

It was on ITT earlier this week how Tom the hero had saved the Afghan from a serious head injury and had injured himself during his heroic efforts. I'd only just eaten as well - some people just don't have any consideration. Obviously he's had a sheltered upbringing.

I thought that cape was an hammock that one of the three of them used on honeymoon.
