Hi everyone. I’m new to this site and am not a techy so am hoping you can help. I am just about to take Sky+HD and am looking for a 40 to 42 inch flat screen TV to be flush mounted (recessed not hung on the wall) in a house I am just renovating.

I want a great picture that is good with sport. When I go to stores, they often have Blue Ray DVDs playing through their TVs and they look fantastic. However, if they then switch to a TV station, the results are less easy to judge – even if the different TVs are lined up in the store. The biggest problem seems to be blurred pictures in fast moving action. Is this a common problem or are some sets a lot better than others? One set I have looked at is the new Sony 40Z4500 with 200Hz Motionflow (whatever that is!), but it is very expensive at £1,800. Unfortunately, there was no sport to test it with. Is the 200Hz spec likely to give less blur, or doesn’t it really make much difference, and does anyone have any other suggestions?

Can anyone also recommend a cost effective way to store and play DVDs? I have seen (but don’t really understand) articles on a Buffalo NAS device which seems to be cost effective storeage, but how would I play the DVDs once they are on such a system? Also, will the Buffalo store Blue Ray formats or just normal formats, or is there a better alternative?
