You should give a link to your model.

I've got the Freecom media player 35 and I beleive it can do 720p over component, here's a list of what it can deal with
http://www.airlinktek.com/english/at...kind=&uid=2361

note that elsewhere it's stated that files over 700mb may not play.

Funnily enough I was thinking of flogging mine on Ebay as I hardly use the thing not to mention the slightly cumbersome menu navigation it has, even when using a hacked version that gives better graphics/functionality.

This site is useful for info and updates etc

I ws seriously thinking of getting one of these .. glad i didnt now, I had thought the menu and playback facilitys may be a bit lacking, as FreeCom is a hardware company.. and they always seem to do badly when it comes to software. Virtually ALL my avi files are over 700mb, some even over 2gb (not fat friendly. Thats a colossal failing ..

I'm sure I read it can't do HD video but these specs suggest it can output up to 1080i... but maybe it just upscales.

I can't check mine as it's not currently connected to anything.

For a cheap network drive that does media streaming and jukebox it's ok especially for cheap price but it's a bit basic.
