Hi Everyone!

I've got a Nokia N82 Black phone on Orange, and have the 'E-Mail Inbox' tabsheet in the 'Messaging' section.

I want to set it up so it displays E-Mails from my Windows Live Hotmail Account. However, I don't know any of the Incoming/Outgoing Mail Server addresses etc.

I was wondering if anybody on here did know these and could tell me them so I can put them into the 'Connection Settings' bit of the 'E-Mail Settings'.

Even if I do this, will it work so that I can see my E-Mails on my phone?

Thanks Guys!!

You can't windows Live do not allow POP and IMAP access to the accounts.

The only way of getting them is via Microsoft programs.

but that piece of software does not automatically retrieve your mail you have to sync manually, and i think you have to pay for it too, well when i used it for a while it eventually asked me to make a subscription.

My solution was to move all my mail to gmail, (change everything gradually). If a service does not allow what another does that i want im moving! and i did. Microsoft only allow sync for Windows Mobile phones.

Or there is another solution if you don't hold views like me, i used this as a temporary solution while i went changing my email on services i use but it can be permanent. In hotmail you can forward your mail, so just set your email to forward to a googlemail account, you don't have to maintain the googlemail just use it as a means for getting your hotmails on your phone. in "options" on hotmail there should be an option to "Forward mail to another e-mail account"

i agree best solution is to use another mail provider. but the ms client does integrate into the phone quite well. really i was suggesting that the OP try it. if he doesn't like it then moving to a better provider might be the way forward. but it's got to be worth a look.
