No need to apologize, hun! I was just amused by your tenses!

I do know what you mean though, although I am hoping for a really good jive from them. Fingers crossed at any rate, as it is my favourite dance and all the noises are positive. And I think Christine has pretty solid backing in terms of general popularity. The competition is getting tight, so it should be interesting, at any rate.

Unfair in what sense? Unless the votes are being miscounted, John is staying in fair and square.

It's up to the celebrities to compel the viewers to pick up their phones to save them. If we don't, then that celebrity is doing something wrong and doesn't deserve to be there.

I hope we are saying goodbye to Lisa or Tom this week, but I sense it might be John or Heather

It's a bit boring with the fact that it's relatively predictable. Think it has something to do with with fact that the phone lines are not open during the week and only open after all the couple danced. It'd definitely stop some manipulation and that's why it's more predictable.

Heather or John would be the fairest option, I'd say.

Got a odd feeling Rachel may be in the dance off though. A group of 6 friends and I were talking about SCD today, and we all started out as big Rachel supporters, due to being diehard S Club fans back in the day. But we've all gone off her now. I was expecting a lot more from her. Technically she's very good, but I find her quite bland, tbh. I wonder if others may be feeling the same way.

It's not just me then
I like all the couples left now, but I'm warming to Lisa and Tom the least. I have no idea why.

Christine & John in the dance off this week - John will go!

Sorry, I think it would take a very bizarre phone vote to put either Lisa or Tom out at this stage! Maybe they could be in the bottom two, but they'd have to be in there with Austin or Rachel before they'd actually be eliminated.

I strongly hope it will be John out this week, there's only so much comedy to be had from him not being able to do latin, and only so many times the same ballroom routine pretending to be which ever dance he has that week can be entertaining.

Surely that's a good thing though!

I think the public are on the same roll as the judges with Austin/Tom/Lisa/Cherie so don't think any of those will be marked low and they're doing very safe dances (apart from Austin).
Rachel should be safe too even tho' Len obviously has a problem with her, as she's always good technically.
Jodie is now loved by the public so would be save plus even the judges are getting behind her.

John is atrocious, but may be saved, if he's in the dance off - he should go.

So if John is out of the equation that leaves Heather who appears to be doing well on the tango...and its a dance the public love, and Christine who has the difficult 'jive' and who doesn't seem to be able to get the judges to recognise she's improving (unlike Jodie)

I hate to say it but I really feel Christine will go this week (and I so hope she doesn't) unless as others are suggesting the GBP get bored of saving John.

What I hate about this years SCD is the predicatability of knowing Tom/Austin/Lisa/Cherie/Rachel are dead certs...so it would be lovely to have one of the judges favs go...that would really spice it up!

I'm not a big Christine fan, but for her to go, I think she'd have to be up against someone other than Heather or John. And as poor Heather seems to have a guaranteed place in the dance off, and she's generally scored lower than Christine, I think she's the most likely candidate to go.

Should be John as he's run out of tricks, but what annoys me most about the dance off is that Heather would have surely gone by now on the public vote and it's hardly fair to keep her on.

It looks like she has a good dance and this is the first week I can't predict...I predicted Heather and Andrew last week.

There 'might' be a shock entry in the bottom 2 this week. If Heather safe then perhaps Christine.

I think people still think she good from the amount of people thought she would be good, but a 32 for a jive is kind of bad at week 7, and 32 for the viennese waltz isn't so good either. Kelly got 36 for both of them!!! and she wasn't even the best

John should go, but he wont.

Apologies for being a bit behind on things this week but are they all doing different dances again. I think, if they are, this will effect who is in the bottom two. John should be there as he can't doing either latin or ballroom but taking him out of the equation because I think he will stay, it really depends on what dance they each do. There are only a few at the moment who are reasonably good at both types of dances.

I think that this week might be difficult to predict and therefore more fascinating than usual.

If John doesnt get saved then obviously he will be in the dance off and gone for sure, but if he is saved then it will be fascinating.

I think Heather will have to be very near the top of the board to stand a chance of not being in the dance off, she just doesnt seem to have the public support.

I think Cherie has a great chance of being at the top again, and I think if they pull it off that Rachel and Vincents AS with the quickstep tempo could be fantastic and therefore they could be at the top too. Therefore every point given by the judges will be vital as anyone near the middle of the board could be vulnerable, Tom, Austin, Rachel and to an extent Lisa have so far NOT had their popularity tested as they have always been near the top, I would love to see some of them have to worry a bit more to be honest, I hope Jodie and Christine do a great samba/jive and really put the cat amongst the pidgeons so to speak.........sorry but this series needs something to put the fire in it.

I agree with your final paragraph completely this series needs a shock bottom two to spice it up I think.

However in your feelings about Christine going.....she would have to be up against someone like Austin or Tom or Rachel to go surely........she would be saved over Heather and John.....no doubt about that at all.

I have good faith in christine to go and do her jive and get a good score, I really would be devestated for her to go

I really think a gabby situation could happen, with rachel cherie or lisa as the victims

But, john to go please!

John and Christine in the dance off. John to go (although I will be really sorry to lose Kristina).

I think even if one of the "good " dancers are in the bottom 2 tonight it doesnt necessarily mean they wont make the final. Mat tDi Angelo was in the bottom 2 quite early on in the series last year and still ended up coming second!

I think it could be a shocker this week.. with two of the better dancers in the bottom two... not sure who though, maybe Christine and Lisa.
