Using WLAN
Ok so I have from time to time connected my n82 to the wireless network in my house to do my usual browsing etc.
Can someone reassure me this will not cost me any money and its just the same as me using my laptop? If I wanted to download a video from you tube onto my phone using the wireless connection, is it going to cost me anything on my mobile phone bill or is it a completely seperate thing and I can use my wireless network in the same way I would my laptop and its included in my Broadband package. |

I do the same thing with my N95. Browsing via your WLAN will not cost you anything and is exactly like browsing via a laptop.
The best way to make sure you don't get charged is to set your internet connection to your WLAN as default. Also, when you are connecting it should say 'connecting via (WLAN name)'. |

Thanks
![]() I have the web bolt on so I dont mind using my phone connection when im out and about, its just sometimes when im in bed or somewhere else in the house its quicker to use my phone. I can download the video onto my phone then and it wont be a problem....if I can find out how to save it that is! |
