Laughing at it but that's all. So you have a picture of a bloke standing in front of a clearly projected image (from a projector) so it must be true. And for only pennies (presumably lots of mugs replying means nice little earner) for a magical gadget which will do what? Magnify your TV picture so you can see all the picture faults more clearly. And what about brightness/contrast? (Love the technobable bit about turning the TV upside down though, most amusing). Projectors may not be that hi-tech (just a torch and sheet when it comes down to it) but there is a reason why they still cost a fair bit. But then of course it's not a scam because they say so. Priceless...

His feedback isn't great, and the last couple who've bought the projector haven't commented on it.

Mind you the total cost is only £6.50 so that's hardly going to break the bank.

Dave.

THE PICTURE QUALITY UNLIKE OTHER PROJECTORS THAT COST HUNDREDS OR EVEN THOUSANDS
Very unlike I would expect !
Love the technobable bit about turning the TV upside down though
Techno Fact actually, with a fresnel lens - least he's upfront about that minor(?) issue

I wonder, has anyone tried to get one of these cheap portable tellies with an LCD screen. Can one deconstruct that? If you turn it upside down and use the front as rear and it might work.
After all they have a light behind it? If you would use a beam behind it one could maybe produce something cheaper for home use.If you just use it in a dark room its would be maybe OK. Then you would not need these strong lights and a cooling facility. Any thoughts on how one could get a decent focus.

I wished the prices on projectors would come down.

There's a separate thread already running on this, complete with upside down TVs and sticky backed plastic advice...

Well I don't know what you lot are so cynical for... I got this kit and now my Casio 2.5" pocket TV projects a high definition 100Hz 12 foot image. I even got a 30 foot image from my 14" TV.

They're really great.

OK, before some of you complain, yes I'm joking, yes these fresnel projector kits aren't as wonderful as they're advertised. I don't really own one, I don't recomend you buy one.

There, I've covered my ass.

You should be working for QVC.

I was convinced until you said you were joking...

Oh well I'll just have to turn the TV the right way up again.
