Some will disagree with me I'm sure and think that she was overmarked but I thought she was fabulous tonight!

To come back out after last week's Salsa and dance like that is admirable IMO. I know people will say that her ballroom will always be good and her Latin not but even so, after the last few weeks her confidence must have been crushed and she still came out and danced beautifully

Congrats Cherie, you were fabulous!

She was competent certainly...but I found it slightly dull. I'm sure others would have been criticised for that.

Sadly, I don't think you're gonna much Cherie love in here.

Well done Cherie!

I really really loved her waltz. It was so beautiful and I think her marks were just right.

It was polished but it didn't stand out.

I've got a bit of a question mark over Cherie at the moment.

She's fine when she sticks to slow dances, but is that an all round great, worthy winner/dancer? Well no, not really.

It was very nice, but a bit dull.

Yes well done. I enjoyed it

I do like her style, but I thought it was another dull and slow performance. But hey to each their own...

Isn't the WV meant to be slow? Well, compared to other dances.

Elegant and classy (as ever) in the ballroom

Sorry, I thought she deserved at least one 10. She was fabulous tonight.

I have to agree with you, half way through it I was thinking......boring. But its the only type of dance she can do. Her latin is terrible and thats a huge part of the competition.

I thought she was way over marked for the dance, it was D.U.L.L. and very boring. Elegant yes, but she is limited to slow dances only.

Judges over marked that performance.

Why can't all the pople that didn't like it post on one of the numerous Cherie disliking threads instead of one that was a celebration of her dance tonight for those that liked it??

I thought she looked beautiful and danced wonderfully tonight- the music may not have been brilliant but she was.

Good for her after a couple of dodgy weeks for her.

The waltz is slow, but can have some faster elements; faster twirls. I just feel that James is trying to play it safe, which is his prerogative.

You have a point!

Only reason I can give you is that that's what appreciation threads are for. If you start a new thread to congratulate your favorite you do run the risk of drawing people who don't agree with you.

I didn't think it was particularly slow for a waltz and there were twirls. Of course there won't be as many as in the viennese waltz which is faster. I can't believe that they are being criticised for dancing a slow waltz!

Yes, that's how I feel - I just don't think she can reach the final dancing at this pace and I am a Cherie fan.

Yes, well done Cherie  We already knew you could do ballroom but what are you going to show us next week?

Hopefully that she can come out and be fabulous dancing a fast latin

I'm the first to admit that she needs to improve her Latin to get further in the competition and I think tonight gave her the confidence boost she needs.
