Well we'll see about that then, wont we?

She needs to up her game now but I think she's more than capable of doing so.

As a dedicated Cherie supporter I am allowed to say, James is bumping against the upper end of his choreography skills. The routine was one you may see at a suburban dance, rather short on ideas and did not tell a story, unlike Ian and Jodie's Elizabeth and Mr Darcy.

To be electric, James needs to give full rein to Cherie's elegance and grace, it needs to be specially designed for Cherie.

But good luck to James, the competition is getting fiercer by the week.

Judging by some of your posts on Cherie (I think I am correct in saying) she could have had sparklers alit on each finger and fireworks coming out of her rear end and she still would have been dull Maybe not an unbiased view?

I loved Cherie & James' waltz tonight. I don't think they were overmarked at all.

(Much as I love them, I did think they were overmarked last week though)

Iam not sure what to make of it I enjoyed bits and hated bits aswell but it was a lot better than her salsa last week

I absolutely loved their waltz this week. I agree that after a difficult couple of weeks, her performance was admirable. There was a lot of pressure to get back to the top of the leaderboard & she did it I hope that now she has her confidence back, she can carry it through to next week, no matter what dance she has and give another performance like tonights.

Well Done to them both, they were fabulous

Errrrrrrrrr Appreciate that this is an appreciation thread for tonight but on what evidence do you base this remark?

She recovered some lost ground tonight. She started the competition well and her rumba was fabulous but she has not shown in any way that she is capable of improving.

Indeed in relation to other competitors, she gives the impression of retreating and indeed knows it if her pronouncements on ITT are to be believed.

I know she's pure evil, and did you see that brown envelope stuffed with £20 notes she gave the judges?

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Er - which pronouncements were these exactly?

We know the mistake at the start of her paso threw her and we know she made a hash of the salsa - and she knows and has admitted as much.

Where do you get the impression of her retreating from? Or is that wishful thinking on your part?

We all know - as Cherie does - that she has to raise her game in the uptempo latins. We also know - as Cherie does - that this is a stretch for her.

Maybe she'll do it, maybe she won't.

Either way, it's abundantly clear that the producers are now using the contestants' remaining dances to eliminate the people they don't want in the final, and I suspect Cherie isn't in that group ... unless, of course, she pulls a rabbit out of the hat next week.

Who knows?

I thought Cherie was back on top form tonight and the marks were fair.

Given the judges comments throughout this series about Cherie's natural talent for dancing, I suspect there are many people like me who can't tell how technically superior she is compared with the other couples and so they dismiss her performances based on what they like or don't like. Fair enough, but isn't this one of the reasons we have judges??!
