Hiya,

I'm looking to buy a TV before 06/12 as that is when the sky engineer comes to change the boxes around the house etc.

Now i'm looking for a tv for my room min screen size of 32" and my budget is £500 maybe pushing to £600 if there's bigger sizes worth the price.

Just wanted to know if anyone knows of any TV's that are great for its price down the lower end of the budget, middle, and higher end so overall i'll have 3 TV choices and pick a final one.

Because to be honest i don't know much about TV's lol and if they've got a DVD player built in it etc.

So anyone got free time to help me out? It'll be very appreciated.

Ta.

The first thing is to find out what your requirements are.

Are you getting HD, how far do you sit from the screen etc?

10ft is fine for SD (and you could even have a 40 inch at that), but too far for HD on a 32 inch.

The Samsung you suggested is not bad though.
I would recommend you the Sony Bravia KDL-32V4000 for £360. It's reviews are brill and it's from the lower end of your budget
And: it's one of the latest TV's on the market.

I've been looking at the Sony model mentioned above and found it at a good price here:http://www.rgbdirect.co.uk/ProductDe...el=KDL32V4000U plus a five year guarantee if you can buy in store.(Sadly I'm 300 miles away )
I bought a dvd recorder from this firm 3 years ago and they were very helpful.

Why people spend thousands on a tv I'll never understand!
